Beautiful beach with crystal clear sea and lots of fish.

A fantastic experience. The reserve itself is beautifully maintained, a true paradise on earth. My advice, if you want to tour more than one beach, is to start from the San Lorenzo entrance and see the first beach, as well as the necropolis and the Byzantine church. Along this stretch, there are also observation points where you can see flamingos up close. Then return to the car, drive to the central entrance (Vendicari/Tonnara), and from there see the tonnara beach, the ecomuseum, and Cala Mosche. But the real added value of the reserve are the volunteers who run the ecomuseum and offer free and very interesting guided tours. A special thanks to Fabio for his brilliant explanation of the work and history of the tonnara, as well as the battles to preserve the space. In short, 5 stars because 10 isn't enough. P.S. For those who complain about the lack of bars, showers, bathrooms, fountains, or even worse, trees, there are always resorts where human beings, in their greed, are king. No one is forcing anyone to love nature, at least try to respect it.

Magnificent reserve, pretty beach, warm sea, a little seaweed...

A wonderful place to spend a day immersed in nature. From the ticket office (€3.50 per person), there's a 1km trail to the Tonnara, and a little less to the beach with its crystal-clear sea. A must-see for lovers of seaside walks, birdwatching, beach life, history, and nature. Trails connect some of Europe's most beautiful beaches (Calamosche, Marianelli, Eloro), and with the same ticket, you can explore them all!

Absolutely unmissable. A pristine place where man must enter on tiptoe. If you're looking for a beach to take the kids to the sea to play, change your destination; you'll find a thousand other more comfortable ones with all the necessary services. The philosophy of this reserve is to be an open-air museum, where man is, indeed, a spectator, and as such, must leave no trace of his presence. We were fortunate enough to listen to the ecomuseum guide's tale of the history of the tuna fishery and the reserve in general, truly superb. Keep up the good work.
