Sibilla In Tivoli

It is worth going there just for the Scent of History that you can breathe between the walls of this Historic Restaurant. We were there for my nephew's birthday and I would never have expected anything like this. A Post Office for Princes, Princesses, Queens and Kings of the Past, who were on the Famous Grand Tour around Europe. The stable for the horses where the change took place to continue their Tour is still visible... a place that Smells of History. Super Friendly Staff..... 10 and Honors Head Waiter... what can I say..... It is Worth Going There.... I have been to many restaurants in Italy (even starred ones) and I must say that this experience Accessible to All Had Never Happened to Me.... 100 and Honors!!!

Didn’t have a reservation but not an issue as it was March and we got there right as they opened. The view would’ve been cool but it was dark already so we sat inside. The amatriciana tortellini was delicious although could’ve benefited from an another tortellini or two (although maybe we’re just too American). The eggplant Parmesan was amazing!! Would recommend that for vegetarians. The pear walnut salad was just ok. The tomato basil pappardelle was good but not super flavorful. The chocolate cake was also good but not stellar. The hazelnut coffee parfait (gelato) was delicious but tiny fyi. The bread and biscotti/almond cookies on the house were nice.

The most beautiful and romantic restaurant. The service was a 100. And the food a 1000. Increíble

Splendid location, where you can breathe the history of Ancient Rome. Professional and welcoming staff. Suggestive atmosphere. Good food. We will definitely return in spring to eat in the garden taking advantage of the flowering of the Ancient Wisteria, spectacular!!!

The place and the attention are spectacular. It is a place to go without haste and without hunger, or order several dishes. It took them more than 30 minutes to bring the dishes, despite it being half empty. The most disappointing thing after the wait was the small size of the dishes... Of course, the food was delicious.

2025 update Excellent quality raw materials and well-prepared dishes The allergens continue to not be indicated and I had to call the room attendant several times: this disturbs me a bit The service wasn't great: some main courses arrived together with the first courses and some dishes didn't arrive at all and we had to ask for them The last sore point is the wine, a bottle of red costing over 50 euros served at a very low temperature has reduced the pleasure of drinking it, this disturbs me more than the absence of allergen indications, which is mandatory... 2024 I can only confirm the reviews that precede mine: excellent cuisine, exceptional service, perfect day. Located a stone's throw from the Gregorian bridge and the Sibilla temple (hence the name). Welcoming environment, service up to the fame of the restaurant BUT I waited 30 minutes for the spaghetti with clams and, despite the excellent cooking, I was a bit disappointed as they were cooked with yellow tomato (maybe it's because I'm from Puglia and I have to see red, I recognize it). The salikornia on the other hand is an excellent idea and the clams are very fresh and excellent in taste. I didn't pay but from the menu I would say between 70 and 100 euros (the cellar is well stocked). I'll be back. KAIMANO!!

Oggi 7 Dicembre abbiamo pranzato all'aperto sotto il tempio della Sibilla Albunea. Semplicemente location unica... Ottimo pranzo con piatti della tradizione leggermente rivisitati. Personale simpatico e disponibile. Un grazie particolare alla persona che ci ha consigliato il bianco locale Est Est Est che si abbinava perfettamente ai piatti scelti. Complimenti a tutta la brigata.
