Si' Pizza In Montopoli in val d'arno

The best Pizza and calzone I have ever had, unfortunately a takeaway restaurant and they didn't really speak English, but they did their best to help us, it was also super cheap, 24 euros for 4 people, there was a small seat outside along the road which is a shame and could be better, but really great food and service

Having arrived tired and cranky in Montopoli after a long and warm drive, there’s only one cure for the Monday blues: pizza!!! Monday most restaurants are closed, but this little place was open. It’s certainly a place where locals come to buy a slice of goodness in the evening. That’s always a good sign. There’s very limited seating arrangements; one table and 2 benches. Being very touristy, we dined in. The waitress was nice and spoke English. They also have a menu hanging in English, so you know what you will get! Stepdaughter went for her usual poison; ham and cheese. My fiancée went for tomato/basil topping and I went for my weakness, spicy, so a pizza with Nduja. Pizzas arrived quickly and as it should be with Italian pizzas, it’s minimalistic goodness. Crust was thin and well baked, tomato sauce full off flavor and it’s just so good. The price for 3 pizzas, 2 beers and 2 icetea’s was a meager 27 euros. You can beat that price! We will come back, and this time just have a few slices of the many different varieties that they serve!
