I was looking for a place to connect with my laptop and have breakfast. Shake Café was a pleasant discovery; you can also enjoy an excellent brunch there. The interior is spacious but not overwhelming, and the service is fast and very efficient. Prices are average.

I strongly recommend this place for who enjoys complete breakfast to start the day, they offer generous dishes and very well prepared. I recommend the avocado toast with salmon, really good!

I've been coming here since it opened. It's a place with attention to detail and a lovely family atmosphere. The food quality is top-notch, and the service is friendly and attentive.

My partner had a wonderful shashuska. Unfortunately my falafel wrap was not good at all. The wrap was like a whole wheat tortilla but not a tortilla and it was hard and dry and kind of like eating cardboard. The falafels were dry, with no spice and reminded me of sawdust. The lettuce and cucumber and dressing were good, but did not make up for falafel or the wrap . Of course I am in Florence and should know better than ordering non Italian food. I personally would not return for a second try.

Great café for a vegan breakfast. It's a very large restaurant right near the university. It's relatively noisy, but many students also use it as a workspace. The food is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly. We'd gladly come again.

Shake Café on Via Cavour is the ideal place for a relaxing breakfast or an afternoon of studying. It has a youthful atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It has an outdoor area with heated lamps for the winter, and is a lovely spot in the summer for a coffee or brunch al fresco. Highly recommended if you're visiting Florence.
