Antico Caffé In Firenze

Had lunch during lunch break. Great place and fantastic food.

Eating the food from this place is like shaking hands with King Charles.

This was the best croissant I've ever had! Before that, the top spot belonged to a pastry shop in Etretat, France. The rum baba was also delicious. It was full of rum; every bite felt like a sip of rum. The service was very sweet. It was a very pleasant, modern café, with elegant Florentine ladies and their dog sitting nearby. They even hand-wrote the menu in front of us—a sure sign of good Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it! I regret not having the chance to have lunch there (get the smaller, classic croissant, not the brioche). The prices, at least for me, were simply ridiculous. Croissants cost three times as much in Latvia.

The pastries are delicious and fresh, and I loved the taste of the coffee. The staff was fast and nice. Really good experience, close to the A&O hostel.

A very nice café that we visited a few times for our morning coffee and got some sandwiches too.
