Very good restaurant, very tasty fresh fish. They were very kind to prepare everything gluten-free, without cross-contamination for a celiac.
The fried food could be improved, but the rest is exceptional.
The only thing to note, however, is that the wait for the gluten-free fried food was long (45 minutes).
On the other hand, since they couldn't provide a gluten-free dessert, they offered us figs.
Excellent prices.

Delicious dinner. There were two of us, and we had a peppered mussel dish, mixed fried fish, two seafood linguine dishes, and a hazelnut dessert. Everything was delicious, but the service was very slow because it wasn't organized. For a crowd like last night, they needed at least five waiters, divided between the two rooms. The owner (I think) was very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. The only downside is that if I mention a spider in my glass, the waitress has to change it, not inspect it to see if it's real. Otherwise, it's very good; I'd go back.

Tomorrow we leave Soverato after a week. Everything was a pleasant discovery, especially the Shabby restaurant and its staff. The owner, Domenico, is kind and courteous, and knew how to pamper us day after day. Top products. A big kiss to everyone. See you soon.

Even though the restaurant isn't aesthetically beautiful, I felt truly pampered and amazed by the staff's attention to their customers. The waiters (I remember Dacia and Carmen for their kindness) were super attentive, the service almost wedding-like, glasses always full, bread "conzato" with oil and oregano after every course, glasses replaced due to the presence of a fly (seen directly by the waitress).... In short, impeccable service... All just steps from the busy Soverato seafront. The food was good, fresh fish and top-quality ingredients. Prices were average. Recommended.

Recommended by a local friend, we had lunch today at this small restaurant directly overlooking the seafront (there were eight of us, four adults and four children). The host is very kind, knowledgeable, and unobtrusive, and knows his job very well, recommending the perfect wine and food pairings. The portions, besides being generous, are of excellent quality. The service was timely, making for a truly enjoyable two hours. Congratulations! If we return to beautiful Calabria, we'll definitely be back.
