Sfoglia Rina In Bologna

We had the pleasure of trying the tortellini, which turned out to be truly excellent. The parmigiana was also a great success, confirming the quality of the dishes. However, we noticed a certain lack of attention to customer service. We hope this aspect can be improved in the future. Despite this, the overall dining experience was pleasant.

I ordered Italian pasta, and it was delicious, perfectly cooked and with a balanced flavor, not too heavy. The dish arrived piping hot, and the portion was perfect. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, while still leaving plenty of time to eat in peace. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed, and comfortable, ideal for sitting and chatting without excessive noise. Everything ran smoothly, without long waits or rushing. It's not a flashy place, but you can tell they pay attention to detail. I left satisfied and with a very positive overall impression.

The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is truly delicious; I love Balanzoni, and the service here exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back.

In the center of Bologna, you can savor authentic traditional Bolognese dishes. Be warned, there's a bit of a line to get in. I had the tortellini in brodo, and I have to say that after waiting an hour in line, it was worth it. Highly recommended.

What a lovely surprise!! This restaurant is everything you could want when you're looking for a great time. Excellent staff, smiling, kind, and super service. We had the taglietta El ragù and it was wonderful. Thank you again, and I recommend this restaurant to everyone. 😊

Famous for a reason. If you eat to takeaway, you can skip the line, otherwise you'll be waiting. Food is delicious though and totally worth it.

We got there and there was a really long line, and we were about to leave, but then we saw we could skip the line for takeout! The fresh pasta was delicious, I recommend taking out... Bologna has so many places where you can sit down and enjoy your meal 🍝 (€11 per dish)

Bologna is a stellar city for food and Sfoglia Rina shines even there! Best food in Bologna—beautifully made and presented—I ate slowly just to savor every bite. Favriccio was our server (I think I got the spelling right) and he was so kind and helpful. 😍👌🎶

Ah Bologna, what some consider the gastronomical capital of Italy. Personally I find it hard to give this title to just one place in Italy, but Bologna does deserve its credit. The place that birthed Bolognese, parmesan reggiano cheese and I believe Prosciutto di Parma. Being foodies (and having a cheaper flight) we made the stop here to try some good cooking.  Walking through this small, quiet yet somewhat charming city you are greeted with a very walkable path straight to a delightful little place called Sfoglia Rina. This place which seems to host cooking class on less busy days had a line out the door for people to get in. So be prepared during the summer months to possibly wait outside a little bit ti be seated, even if you go not at typical American eating times. Once seated the restaurant and ordering works in a very innovative way. You simply write what you would like on a small sheet of paper with your name and table number. Once ready the food and drinks are brought to you. When in Bologna we of course ordered the Tagliatelle with bolognese ragout (Bolognese) and Creamy Parmesan tortellini. I myself favored the tortellini and was wowed by the amount of flavor and cheese that had been dropped into my mouth. It was soooo good. I left the Bolognese thoughts to my fiancee whose favorite food dish is Bolognese. She loved it, agreeing that it was the best Bolognese she ever had. This place is totally worth the wait and any extra effort to get to if you are in Bologna
