Impeccable cuisine. A sublime experience.

We ate reasonably well, especially considering the value for money, considering it's in Florence. The best thing by far was the tagliolini with lobster, truly excellent. Unfortunately, the ambiance does somewhat dampen the desire to return, at least for those like me who go out for special occasions like a birthday. Appearance counts, especially in a seafood restaurant unlike a typical trattoria. The black terrazzo floor doesn't give the impression of a clean place at all, even if it is (which makes even those with slightly longer coats touching the floor uncomfortable, given the lack of a coat rack), accompanied by a slight bad odor in the air. I recommend at least covering the floor and freshening up the place, which seems a bit run-down.

A guarantee! Every now and then my partner and I treat ourselves to dinner at Settimo. This time, crudités, a royal antipasto, and lobster linguine... everything perfect! The only small flaw is the lemon sorbet, which in my opinion isn't top-notch... see you soon!
