Really very good. Fish shop and then also restaurant. The fish is fresh and cooked very well. Personally I recommend the tuna tartar and the mix of appetizers (if they remain for the next seasons).
The prices are not exactly cheap, but during our stay at La Maddalena we decided to return twice.

We first ordered fried squid rings and a green salad.
The squid rings were ok but very overpriced (actually is that expensive in most places)
The salad was okay too.
The main course was cod with mashed potatoes with a hint of lemon.
It was really super delicious, highly recommended.
Service was very nice, we felt comfortable.
Ambiance was nice.
I was very satisfied and I really enjoyed the main course.

We had a nice dinner with our friends in this restaurant. The seafood was very tasty and you could clearly feel the freshness of the food. I really can't understand the 3.6 stars. The price of the restaurant is higher, but it's definitely worth it.

Già provato negli scorsi anni, anche quest'anno non ci ha deluso.
Posto in centro purtroppo molto a ridosso della strada principale, affacciato su Cala Gavetta con tavoli solo all'aperto (nelle serate molto ventose può rappresentare un problema). E' anche una pescheria per cui il pesce è freschissimo e di prima qualità. Pulito e molto informale. Interessante il VERMENTINO imbottigliato ed etichettato specificamente per loro.
Prezzo nella media per l’isola e commisurato alla qualità della materia prima.

Unfortunately we weren't very enthusiastic about the price-performance ratio, it's a real tourist trap and we wouldn't come here again. Grill plate for 2 was absolutely too expensive at €80, and the fish was rather dry and not seasoned at all. There were no vegetables either. Location right next to the harbor on the street

We returned here after 3 years given the positive experience we had in the past. We found a chaotic, disorganized environment that made us wait 35 minutes to take our order, even though we already had a reservation. Beyond the food about which we have nothing to say, there was a lack of attention to the customer which in these cases makes the difference.

We had a wonderful evening at Sette Otto! Very fresh and quality fish!
We started with a raw dish consisting of two prawns, two scampi, two oysters and a tuna tartare, and then continued with the catch of the day cooked in the oven... what can I say: everything was exceptional! Courteous staff available for all our needs! Fair value for money for the quality of the catch. Unlike other places, this is not a tourist trap at all. Highly recommended
