First experience in a Japanese restaurant of this level. Meanwhile I find it nice where it is. Inside a small courtyard therefore away from the chaos. I recommend for someone who wants to be as private as possible to book on the veranda. Soft lights with approximately 18 seats. For the first time (but it won't be the last) we tried the multi-course menu. Around 110 euros each excluding drinks. Sublime! Dishes prepared and exploding in crescendo of flavors and combinations. To accompany them, the sommelier recommended three different glasses of sake. Excellent raw fish, interesting broth that they pour on the spot with seafood already planted, followed by the skewer with meat and spring onion cooked on Japanese coals. We also squeezed in a couple of samples of 4 portions of uramaki and it was an interesting choice to the point that next time we will return just to eat different ones because the menu offers delicious combinations. My favorite dish was the dessert. Miso ice cream with a crunchy chocolate wafer and strawberries and berries. It completed with a veil of freshness a journey that I hoped would never end. Welcoming and efficient staff throughout but I already perceived this by telephone at the time of booking. You can also book from the site.

Japanese restaurant in the heart of Bologna with the possibility of choosing à la carte or tasting menu.
We took the full tasting menu, really appreciated it.
Excellent service and always available to explain the details of the dishes.
The two bottles of water were included in the tasting menu and they let us try two different desserts.
In summary, recommended, I will return.

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo scelto l’esperienza menu degustazione Omakase da 9 portate. Un’esperienza indimenticabile, mai assaggiati dei piatti simili. Sapori molto particolari e qualità eccezionale. Torneremo sicuramente per ordinare dal menu alla carta.

I had dinner here choosing the omakase menu and I'm very happy I did. Each course was delicious and well presented, and the sake recommended by the waiter was perfect as an accompaniment. I really appreciated the choice of courses offered, and both in this and in the way they were prepared and presented I found the tastes, flavors and colors of Japan (my beloved otoro!).
Not cheap (€100 each excluding drinks), but it's worth it.

Probably the best sushi in Bologna!
I went to Seta several times with my partner and we always had a great time! || service is of the highest level as is the cuisine, despite this the prices are very honest for the quality on the table!

The place aims high, the food is good and presented very well, the service is also of a high level. There is an internal space with a limited number of tables for two and one outside on a veranda. I stayed in the latter a few years ago and, like all these structures, when it's cold it's not very comfortable, nor too beautiful in my opinion, not completely adequate for a restaurant costing 100 euros each.
The food is presented in a much more refined way than average, but the "essential" portions and the decidedly high cost are notable. By limiting yourself very much in ordering dishes and wines, you can barely stay under 100 per person. With a lot of appetite and a lot of thirst I think it's easy to reach 200.
I think that in a different location and with the portions being 20% higher I could give it five stars.
