Serendib In Milano

Serendib is a restaurant serving Sri Lankan and Indian dishes. Every dish is a masterpiece, and the kitchen creates marvels that will make you want to return a thousand times. Suitable for those wanting to try Indian cuisine for the first time, thanks also to the fact that most dishes are not spicy, and it's a perfect choice for those who love Indian cuisine, wanting to be amazed by Sri Lankan cuisine (for example: the Dahl is truly different from the Indian version and, in my opinion, much better). I recommend the tasting menu, but be careful because the portions are always very generous, and after the first five courses, four more courses plus dessert arrive (TWO desserts, and two fruits, with melted chocolate on the side). Excellent coffee and a wide selection of Indian liqueurs after the meal; I tried the cardamom and ginger ones, both very tasty and unique. The service is excellent, not too formal but always very attentive to the customer's needs. It's in Milan, so the best option is to go by public transport or taxi; otherwise, finding parking can be a bit of a challenge. Do yourself a favor: go there.

This evening I returned to the historic Serendib restaurant for dinner with a colleague who hadn't been there before and really enjoyed it. The owner welcomed us with great kindness, as always. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, the service was attentive and fast, and the food was delicious. Serendib offers a varied menu of Indian and Sri Lankan dishes at a great price—the lunch packages are also very attractive. I highly recommend this restaurant, always a great choice for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends in Milan's Garibaldi area.

Excellent dinner, beautiful location, welcoming, kind, and super helpful service. I had dinner this evening for the first time and the food was really good. We had mostly Indian dishes and everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back 🙏🏻

Serendib is a must-try. I've been here several times and recommend it for an authentic experience in an elegant setting. Ideal for a dinner for two, the tasting menu is highly recommended.

Excellent dish... excellent quality food... I ordered basmati rice with chickpea cream and beef stew, but slightly spicy, those who like it are fine!

Restaurant à la décoration soignée, menu dégustation copieux, globalement plutôt bon. Cependant cela merite-t-il un bib gourmand? Les plats manquent parfois de saveur, le service est attentionné mais maladroit, notre serveur semblait parfois très courtois et parfois désagréable. Le lieu manque de chaleur et d’ambiance et les tarifs sont un peu élevés.
