Selzbar In Milano

Selz is an easy bar where you can relax and have fun with friends. I loved the quality of drinks, the kindness and friendliness of the staff, the lovely music selection, perfect for guys like us we'll over 40. I surely recommend the Selz and Domenico, the owner who is really a good man: this is a place to go!!!

Every time it's like coming home. Masterful cocktails, abundant and quality aperitif, top service with Mimmo and the legendary (S)Batti in the console!

The definition of a three star Restaurant/Bar in the Guide Michelin is:“It's worth traveling a long way just to visit the restaurants.“ And i would totally subscribe that for the Selz. From the first Moment when you enter the Restaurant, you feel love and passion. For me it was like beeing invited to a family. I came as a stranger and left as a Friend. Great words, but exactly what it feels like. Grazie per la splendida serata e per la vostra ospitalità. È un onore avervi conosciuto. Your Timm And to all guests: i swear that everybody will have the same experience, if you are willed to have a great time with wonderful people. And non the less: also the food and drinks are perfekt

So we are two foreigners wondering around Friday evening thinking about this “aperitivo” thing everyone talking about. Walked in to Selz, bartender greets in Italian, after saw our reaction he quickly get a young staff who speaks perfect English. Needless to say we are relieved. Sat down my wife ordered Aperol Spritz, I ordered Negroni. We both liked our drinks. Mine is on bitter side but put you in the zone quickly. It was pretty good experience seeing how locals hang out with their family and friends. If you are in the neighborhood check out this place, better than your hotel bar. lol
