We had a really good meal. It's a simple place, but the food is superb. Reasonably priced. Everything is homemade. The tortellini and roast guinea fowl are excellent.

I arrived alone with my dog ​​on Saturday for lunch without a reservation. The place was packed and they told me to come back in half an hour. I took a stroll along the embankment, it was a sight to behold, then I came back, sat down, and another sight to behold!

Very homely and lovely restaurant in the suburbs of Modena (recommended via Italian Reddit, of all places). We were very happy to enjoy pastas and other dishes in the local style. The owner of the restaurant and other patrons made us feel very welcomed and we thank them for their warmth and hospitality!

A place where you can still taste the true traditional Modenese cuisine. Everything was simply delicious—so good we didn't even have time to take photos! The dishes are prepared with top-quality ingredients, respecting traditional recipes and with a care that shines through in every bite. The atmosphere is authentic, family-friendly, and the staff is extremely kind and always available to explain the dishes or offer advice with a smile. A place with history and identity, where you can sense the love for cuisine and tradition. A special thanks to Mr. Cristiano for his kindness, stories, and valuable advice on visiting Acetaia San Matteo. An experience to remember, and definitely one to repeat!
