Excellent food and service with outdoor or indoor seating available. For dinner we enjoyed caponata followed by spaghetti with cuttlefish and grilled swordfish. Easy to make a reservation using the Fork app.

The service was good and atmosphere was pleasant, but food was not tasty unfortunately. I went here for dinner with my husband and we ordered two different dishes and we didn’t like both of them. Also the prices are quite high for such small portions.

Very local atmosphere with exceptionally kind staff. We followed their recommendation for the pistachio ravioli, and it turned out to be unexpectedly amazing. Pasta was perfect. (not the best photo, sorry - looked better and tasted good)

Ortigia: good restaurant with friendly, quick and efficient service. I ate some well-executed Spaghetti alla Siracusana, a sea bass that didn't fully satisfy me, perhaps a little overcooked, an exquisite caponata and a very good decomposed cannoli. Advised

La comida aquí es excelente, comenzando con almohada fresca, como focaccia hasta un nuevo toque de tiramisú que sorprendió y encantó. La selección de vinos presenta una amplia variedad de vinos sicilianos de buena calidad. Lo que realmente distingue a este restaurante es el equipo amable, amable y altamente comprometido que nos saludó, se sentó y nos sirvió. Recomendamos cenar aquí al menos una vez mientras visita Ortigia... dos o tres veces si sus viajes lo permiten. No te decepcionarás.

19/05/2025: This is our go to bar at Ortigia. (My apologies if I misspell the team’s names. Fault is all mine.) Edoardo gave us the best recommendations and suggestions on local drinks and aperitifs. We had the most reviving and interesting amaro / nepeta / Etna and classic spritzs here, as well as really good seafood to accompany the drinks. A shout out to Vierim (really warm service) and the bartender Daviole (I’m really sorry if I’ve misspelled your names!). Really good service and genuine smiles all round!
