All very good and quality ingredients in the preparations. The only complaint is that the arancini rice is too "mushy"... overcooked...

The Nebrodi ham is a delight for the palate, the cured meats and provolone are also delicious and the preparations are excellent. Thanks. I don't have any photos because I didn't have the time 🤣🤣🤣

Spartini Dolci Pasticci

29/05/2024: What to say? One of my fondest memories was my friendship with Saro Spartini. In addition to being a very good pastry chef (exceptional white nougat), he was also an exceptional photographer. He complimented me on the prints I made for him, I reciprocated the compliments on the desserts. I worked in Giarre, but living in Catania, in case of events (birthdays, baptisms, etc. on holidays) if necessary I would go Catania-Macchia in order to have his products. Pure goodness!
04/05/2024: Both the desserts and the ice creams are well made and prepared with care. The granitas and brioches are excellent. A special mention for the Sicilian cannoli made following Mr.'s original recipe. Spartini. The cakes and rice dumplings are excellent.

Bar Forzisi

20/08/2024: Family-run pastry bar. A little outside the centre, which is why it is also frequented by locals. Best granitas and almond paste I've ever eaten, and I've been to Sicily 4 times. I returned after a few years and the quality remained excellent. Sometimes ancient tastes without trying all the costs for sometimes curious combinations. It's fine for there to be innovation and contamination but it's equally fine for something to remain original. The latter is our case.
16/08/2024: Recommended for those who love real Sicilian granita and hot table arancini, crushed etc etc
