One of the best restaurants in Sicily during our 3 weeks-plus trip. I still dream about the pasta I had and tuna steak. Nice local wines too.

A charming and cozy restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was good, though it didn’t really stand out, and the prices felt a bit on the high side for what was served. The wine list, however, was good and added to the experience. Overall, a pleasant place for a meal.

We're glad our previous reservation was canceled and we spontaneously discovered this "hidden champion."
The food was perfect, and the octopus was one of the best we've ever had.
The service and ambiance were perfect - a definite recommendation for anyone looking to enjoy a pleasant and enjoyable evening away from the main streets!

While strolling through the alleys of Palermo's historic center, I had the pleasure of dining at Scjabaca restaurant.
Palermo is full of excellent restaurants, but enjoying the food at Scjabaca was a discovery, a unique experience. The freshest prawns, and the pasta with sardines? What can I say... sublime! I must say that the ingredients are truly fantastic in every way.
The staff is very attentive, elegant, friendly, punctual, and precise. I truly enjoyed my stay in a fantastic environment where conversation is pleasant and relaxed. A huge thank you to the staff and the chef for the wonderful experience.
Highly recommended for those who love good food, pampered by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

Food was good but service was terrible. We waited half an hour to order, asked for olive oil 4 times before it was actually given and by that point we’d just given up and eaten the bread. Also had to wait ages to get the bill, and after asking a few times, waited even longer at the counter to pay.
EDIT: I can’t formally reply to the owner so I’ll post here. 30 mins to order appears to be an overcall, but 19 mins to order isn’t something I’d boast about.
I agree that the more experienced server was rapid with most requests but, by that point we’d already had waited so long. A smile is kind but when you’re repeated told to wait for another server but see other people being served by range of people, it’s hard to swallow. Additionally, I also try to have a smile and give people grace, but I left this review as I felt we were treated poorly. Still I’ll try to be more objective and change the service to 3 stars.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was simply exceptional. From the moment you enter, you sense a warm atmosphere, meticulous attention to detail, with friendly, professional, yet never intrusive service.
The menu offers a well-balanced selection of traditional dishes and more creative options. I started with a truly excellent tartare, followed by a first course that combined authentic flavors and elegant presentation. Each course was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

What a lovely find! The food was superb. I had the fish special mahi mahi with celeriac sauce and candied capers along with the chef’s innovative take on pasta alla Norma. Ravioli stuffed eggplant and ricotta salata. Totally underrated.
