We felt welcomed with warmth but the taste of the food prepared with extreme care and accuracy was extraordinary

Traveling in splendid eastern Sicily we discover Scivu. Excellent welcome from Alessandra who made us feel like important guests. We have lunch on the veranda and listen to his precious advice on the dishes he then served us. An excellent bruschetta with cherry tomatoes with basil pesto and salted ricotta prepared our stomachs for some pappardelle with gorgonzola sausage and fennel with mouth-watering homemade pasta. Followed by overcooked cheek and tongue on puree with green flavored sauce, all washed down with an excellent local wine. A harmony of flavors. Bill without surprises, 25 euros each and coffee on the house. What can I say, there are places like this in my area......These guys are really good... to a great extent!!!!

We took a norm-style pinsa and one with pumpkin and sausage. Both excellent, both in terms of the dough and the quality of the ingredients, which they don't skimp on at all. The icing on the cake, a delicious tiramisu, soaked and sweetened just right, for my tastes. Definitely worth trying the rest of the menu.
