Excellent restaurant, from the food to the service everything was perfect. We really had a great time, we will definitely come back to visit them other times. I highly recommend

We entered by chance and had a pleasant discovery! I found some fresh gluten-free casarecce! Perhaps one of the few places with fresh pasta. Friendly staff and attentive to requests.

Incredible food and impeccable service. They were extremely attentive and everything was in a very cozy atmosphere. We were attracted by a friendly gentleman who, with just a glass of wine and a smile on his face, greeted everyone who passed by on the narrow street, and that was how we had a complete Sicilian gastronomic experience. And try the house wine, it is wonderful!

We stayed twice during the holiday, the first time much better than the second. The Syracuse pasta was very good, while the fish pasta lacked a bit of character. The frying was done very well, while the mussel soup was too little for a second course. The place is very nice and the owners are kind and courteous. I would say excellent quality/price ratio.

We are foodies and found Scialai to be the best on our travels in Sicily. Having Sicilian heritage, we are seek out that food wherever we go. This is the best of all. Do not miss it!

The place is a bit stiff at first glance, but the service is fantastic. Very polite and friendly. The food was generally very good. Great lettuce with Sicilian oranges, absolutely amazing in taste. Ice cream made with modici chocolate, delicate in taste, but the consistency is amazing. It's great that you use local products. Pasta a'la norma is good in many places, but here I ate the best one. You know how to handle eggplant. Arrancini in 3 different flavors, made fresh, tastes completely different than what you can find on the street. Not necessarily better, but that doesn't mean it wasn't tasty here. It was very good. The lemon cake went perfectly with the chocolate ice cream. The only drawback was the bitterness at the end of the cake, which may have resulted from grating the lemon peel too much. But overall it's a plus. Casatta siciliana tastes of sugar, but that's generally how it is. The potatoes for the meatballs were completely saltless, although there is salt on the table, but here it was completely absent from the dish. Meatballs correct.

Ottima la qualità del cibo e del servizio, veramente tutto molto gustoso, però piatti un po' poveri, personalmente preferirei maggiori quantità. Prezzo un po' altino per i miei gusti e per le portate richieste...

Ottima cucina siciliana, con ingredienti freschi cucinati in modo eccellente. Personale gentile e molto disponibile a dare consigli e spiegare i vini. Da non perdere!

24/01/2025: World-class food, great ingredients, wonderfully balanced taste, and the dessert is a delight. Unusual use of local ingredients - especially in the dessert, which was a variation on carob. I highly recommend it. Prices adequate to quality. Very nice owner, chefs at metropolitan level.

07/02/2025: Traditional food house, without any pretense of modernity, where traditional local cuisine dishes are served, based on fish. The caponata, with potatoes, are good; The point of the fish frying is excellent, without excess oil, crispy and tasty. The bigoli alle sarde e Finocchietto are perhaps the best pasta I have had in eight days in Sicily. Interesting dishes of the day. I ordered some spaghetti with sea urchins that were delicious. We came back twice. An absolutely recommended place, at a reasonable price. Very attentive and friendly staff, without artifice or posturing.
06/02/2025: Had the marinara swordfish with olives it was a bit too salty. Still enjoyable though.
