Scampo - Pescheria Moderna In Bologna

Simply my favorite fish restaurant in Bologna!

Nice restaurant, fresh food and the staff were nice. Only one thing - would recommend adding a little lemon on the side of the dishes for extra flavour.

A different experience than usual, reservations not allowed, raw fish is ordered at the counter and then cooked according to the customer's preferences. You pay and then you can sit down and be served. Very pleasant environment, price commensurate with the service received, fresh fish. No problem finding a seat either inside or outside, it was Saturday evening 22 February 2025. It's not a restaurant but it doesn't pretend to be one either, it's a valid and pleasant alternative in the center of Bologna.

In the historic center of Bologna, the possibility of asking for the desired fish at the counter (in my case for example red prawn tartare) and my wife for pink prawn tartare and then enjoying it at the table with a glass of wine. Brilliant idea from a group of young people from what I've seen. The only limit is the possibility of booking the table in advance. Average prices and electronic payment. A more informal way to taste fish dishes. The place obviously differs from classic fish restaurants and I think it is no coincidence.

Scampo is a well-established fish format. High quality of the raw material. Dishes very well prepared, fast service!

A must stop when I pass through Bologna. Excellent fish with careful cooking on request, service? ..... wonderful guys!!!

Spartan but welcoming place, well cooked fresh fish

Forse a molti, leggendo le recensioni, non è’ chiaro che questo non e’ un ristorante, ma un Fish fastfood o Pescheria per cui non si possono aspettare certi piatti, servizi accurati da vero e proprio ristorante. Il cash non e’ accettato perché sarà sicuramente dato in gestione senza presenza di un proprietario e tutto deve passare con scontrino e carte per controlli fiscali. Premesso tutto questo, a noi e’ piaciuta l esperienza del fast food chic! 2 spedini di orata, un tonno alla piastra con patate e zucchine, una insalatona con tartare di salmone, (enorme), pane acqua un calice di vino 44€. In un vero ristorante di pesce avremmo pagato forse il doppio! Come fa la gente a non comprenderlo? Non hanno proprio capito il concept di questo posto! Ci ritornero’!

Ho ordinato per la prima volta d'asporto da Scampo e sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto. Tra panini, frittura e polpette di granchio tutto è stato buonissimo e di qualità. Lo consiglio
