A disappointing dining experience. Our aperitif spritz was nearly all ice - hardly any Aperol. We then ordered a 1/4 litre of red wine, the only by the glass option. It was undrinkable. We asked if we could be served something else and were told no. (We would have happily paid a fair price to have a decent glass of wine.) My husband ordered a whole grilled fish and I ordered the tuna which were both well-prepared. The side tomato salad was a disappointment - clearly supermarket tomatoes. Surely they could do better in later September. The service was also a low point. Both servers (brother & sister perhaps?) exuded a lack of enthusiasm.

Nous avons déjeuné à 2 reprises lors de notre séjour de 5 jours à Tropea et avons apprécie la qualité des plats de poisson et de viande ! Un des meilleurs restos de Tropea selon nous . Accueil sympa ! Prix corrects. A deux pas une belle vue mer et sur le Stromboli!

We chose this place intrigued by the various positive reviews. Well presented and exquisite dishes, special mention for the truly delicious and perfectly cooked red tuna. The delicious desserts. Price perfectly aligned with the quality of the products offered considering that we are in a main street of the historic center.

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante la sera di ferragosto, abbiamo preso un antipasto per due e due secondi , ovvero involtini di pesce spada e tonno alla tropeana... tutto buono e personale cordiale .

03/11/2024: What a great lunch we had with a spectacular view. The food was fantastic. However the toilets have no seats. Coming from Canada that's a little weird. But I recommend the eggplant pasta Parmigiano

08/12/2024: Highly recommended! tuna with carmalized onions and grilled vegetables. super tasty in a pleasant warm environment and friendly welcome and service.
11/10/2024: The service was very nice and attentive, the starter was very tasty. However, the main course was literally swimming in oil and the pizza tasted very salty, but the dough was good. I asked for basil for my pizza..it was infested with insects :(
