Had such a wonderful time here. Only place in Aci Castello that we went back to twice. The food is very good, but the service is outstanding. Such lovely and friendly waiters.

Ferragosto lunch without reservation, really varied and crunchy focaccia, mixed fried calamari and courgettes served on tasty focaccia bread, reasonable price, considering that we were a stone's throw from the castle and that it was a holiday.

Wow wow wow…our best meal in Sicily! Bumped into this place by accident on our way to another restaurant…such a lucky accident!!!!Children ordered boring pizza but they said it was the best pizza they had, and we ordered the sea food cous cous…oh my god…so so tasty! Coming with some fish stock on the side and bread to do”la scarpina”…the flavour was out of this world. And Simone…the guy that looked after us today, was so chilled, charming and friendly that made the experience even more special..WOW! Thank you Simone and Scacco Matto for an unforgettable lunch😊

I've been eating here every summer for years and have always had a great time. This year, either they changed the pizza chef or something, but the quality of the food has significantly deteriorated, especially the pizzas. The staff is very kind and helpful, nothing to complain about. The prices aren't up to par with the quality of the food. I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll be back again.

The waiter's service was exceptionally friendly - first-class!!! I recommend this place 1000%; the food is delicious and served to the highest standard. Very tasty, and we'll definitely be back, riding our Harley 😌🏍️ Best regards, Asia and Romek

Locale visto passando per caso vicino al lungomare di aci castello, in prima battuta eravamo inizialmente restii a fermarci a causa di qualche vecchia recensione negativa, tuttavia abbiamo deciso di dare una possibilità al locale, e con grandi risultati. Cous cous spettacolare, servito asciutto con brodo a parte in modo che il commensale possa scegliere quanto bagnarlo, anche antipasto di mare buonissimo e lo stesso la pasta ai frutti di mare. Fanno il pane e lo servono appena sfornato. L’oste è molto simpatico, disponibile e di compagnia, senza essere invadente e consiglia bene sui piatti . Anche i dolci molto buono. Fanno orario continuato e sono quasi di fronte al castello. Lo consiglio vivamente (noi siamo tornati due volte)

Trovato casualmente! Rimasti soddisfatti del posto e della vista, della simpatia la tanto chiacchiera del ragazzone proprietario. Le pietanza molto condite in stile reale siciliano, abbinamento mare e monti riuscito! Un posticino assolutamente da provare se vi trovate a Catania(ACI Castello 🏰, noi arrivati con il pullman)
