Best meal we had in Sicily! Authentic no fuss food that was absolutely delicious! We had lasagne, papardelle di pasta Fresca and a bufalina pizza, finished off with some delicious cannoli. Simon was a great host! Thank you!

Amazing fresh food and vegetables. The waiter Simone was really fun and went with his recommendations from aperitif to the final cafe… every course and drink along the way were perfect. Mille grazie!

We passed by chance and chose the restaurant to have a quick meal. Simone completely enchanted us with his stories and his proposals. Superlative lunch! We ate paccheri and rectangles of fresh pasta. We concluded with a cannoli and the amaro unnimafisso. Top of the top. Absolutely must try! Highly recommended!

Amazing pizza, enhanced even more by the tasty local olive oil. The dessert, Cuore Caldo, was fantastic too! The restaurant was quite full during lunch, leading to a bit of a wait, but with a nice sea view, we didn’t mind at all.

Siamo capitati per caso in 9, e Simone gentilissimo ci ha servito dei piatti ottimi e variegati, consigliatissimo ed in posto veramente bello ACICASTELLO da vedere.

This must be the 4th time dining at Scacco Matto. We received a warm greeting by Simone who suggested the Caponata for starter. My husband chose the lasagna for dinner which he said was delicious the best he's eaten. Well he did clean the plate! I chose the grilled chicken breast and it was delicious. .

10/02/2025: Restaurant with high level cuisine, impeccable service, we enjoyed a truly sublime grouper risotto, not to mention the desserts, all absolutely above average... Congratulations, we will definitely be back. Prices obviously not cheap but absolutely in line with the quality offered.
