We ended up here for dinner this evening. It's a small place that's also frequented by locals. The service isn't the fastest, as some people still have to help out in the kitchen. The food was okay, but I've had better food in the area for the price. We still had a fun evening, though that was mainly due to the other guests and the occasional slapstick antics of the waitresses.

I've known this little place for several years and a stop is mandatory every time I come to Montepulciano. The owner is a really kind person and makes you feel like you are staying with family. The restaurant has been recently renovated and now has a larger room where you can eat. I recommend the platter with really quality cured meats and cheeses but the other dishes are definitely worth trying too.

Very easy place in the historic center of Montepulciano. We stopped by for a glass of wine and were served with such hospitality and availability. Thanks again

Central, local atmosphere, delicious homemade food and nothing touristy… Cristina, the owner makes a spectacular tiramisu! It is an establishment to take into account!

The lady who welcomed us was really kind, we had the platter and glass of wine formula and it was all delicious. There were no options for celiacs, but they made an effort to find something and in the end they gave us some bagged chips. I sincerely recommend it and if I ever return to Montepulciano I will certainly return

I had lunch a few days ago with my mother: for us, the definitive place to taste typical local meats and cheeses (all homemade). The owner's welcome was warm and never intrusive. I will be back to taste their cuisine, which given the premises, can only be excellent!

14/04/2025: locale molto carino siamo andati per i pici e li abbiamo trovati ottimi sia all'aglione che alle briciole, ottime le tagliatele al cinghiale e i fegatelli. Squisito il personale come del resto tutti in toscana. prezzi nella media

14/06/2025: Definitely the best tavern in Siena. We ate very well from the appetizer to the second course. Only once we left did we discover that he had won four restaurants and honestly a well-deserved victory.
