An extra star would be deserved for the cuisine and staff. Well-cooked and balanced dishes, kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic staff. A top-notch evening.

Everything was absolutely top-notch, from the food to the service, to the location with their stunning terrace overlooking the Basilica of St. Paul. They also offer a well-stocked gluten-free menu, which is delicious. I brought colleagues from Milan who raved about it. It's an experience worth repeating.

Nice restaurant with a nice setting, food went well however the waitress (clear hair) on duty today was absolutely unpleasant….

A very beautiful and refined atmosphere, but with a few flaws: the music wasn't loud, but it was commercial radio tunes, which clashed greatly with the classically elegant and refined setting (there's a Roman burial ground inside). The dishes were served quickly, but unfortunately the appetizer was completely undercooked (a pumpkin, taleggio, and potato millefeuille tart: raw potatoes and completely raw grated pecorino cheese on top), and the risotto (with porcini mushrooms and cheese fondue) had two mushrooms in it and was completely submerged in the cheese, making it incredibly heavy. The table next to us was served fish dishes that smelled terrible... something was definitely wrong in the kitchen that evening. The service, however, was excellent; the waiters were welcoming, kind, and efficient. Last but not least...there are several gluten-free options on the menu: now, I don't know if it's due to errors with the gluten or something else, the fact is that I felt sick several times that late in the evening and the next day. A very nice, welcoming, and above all, elegant restaurant in the Ostiense area. It has a covered outdoor veranda on the second floor where dining is truly enjoyable. The food is excellent, as well as beautifully presented. They are very attentive to customer requests and the service. My amberjack steak was truly delicious, cooked to perfection, and above all, you could taste the freshness and authenticity of the food.

A little more care would be needed in selecting the raw materials. A bit touristy.

I was at Saulo's last night. I was looking for a place to have dinner with my sweetheart, and I stopped by. I went up to the terrace, and wow, I must say I was impressed: impeccable service, fantastic food, an excellent wine cellar, perfect background music, and a view of the basilica...a truly perfect evening. I definitely recommend this place, especially the chicken croquettes cacciatore and the seared tuna. Thanks, see you soon.

The food was really good, beautifully presented and explained. It was a wonderful culinary experience. The terrace and the atmosphere were definitely ruined by the plastic pizzeria-style awning, which not only significantly detracted from the ambience but was also downright unsightly. We were disappointed because we had chosen the restaurant for its apparent beauty, considering the importance of the occasion we were celebrating.

On Monday, I celebrated a special day here—my graduation—and I couldn't have made a better choice. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and always friendly. We had everything we needed in an instant, without ever feeling rushed. For this dinner, I opted for the "bronze" event menu: the fish was excellent! Fresh, perfectly cooked, with balanced and authentic flavors. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best fish dinners I've ever had here in Rome. A special mention goes to the millefeuille: crispy, delicate, creamy... truly the best I've ever had. Furthermore, the breezy terrace with its breathtaking view made the atmosphere even more magical, perfect for such an important occasion. I will definitely be back, 100% recommended!
