Corporate and family dinner at the beginning of July. The place is very nice (the terrace overlooking the Basilica), but the menu in short... practically non-existent! 3 first courses and 3 second courses, any small variation on the dish is impossible (even in case of lactose intolerance), under penalty of being executed with 80s England style tomato sauce! The starters were better, so much so that most opted for the double starter instead of venturing into first/second courses. The dessert is also below average.

Was so surprised by how amazing the food tasted. The pictures don’t do this place justice. In the UK we would have paid double.

I booked an aperitif for my birthday.
I was looked after from the moment of booking until the event with great care. The quality of the food was excellent, the timing of the service perfect. Very kind and prepared staff. Beautiful place for a romantic dinner. We had dinner in the cloister, a truly beautiful location. I had an excellent gluten-free amatriciana (they have many choices with gluten-free alternatives), the gluten-free bread was also much appreciated! Very good desserts, especially the “barberini” dessert! Note of credit to Danilo who followed us throughout the evening, also as a photographer. A thousand thanks!
