On Monday, I celebrated a special day here—my graduation—and I couldn't have made a better choice. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and always friendly. We had everything we needed in an instant, without ever feeling rushed. For this dinner, I opted for the "bronze" event menu: the fish was excellent! Fresh, perfectly cooked, with balanced and authentic flavors. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best fish dinners I've ever had here in Rome. A special mention goes to the millefeuille: crispy, delicate, creamy... truly the best I've ever had. Furthermore, the breezy terrace with its breathtaking view made the atmosphere even more magical, perfect for such an important occasion. I will definitely be back, 100% recommended!

Great gluten free experience on a terrace with a really beautiful view

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend. The location is unique, the terrace is a beautiful place to spend a summer evening. The octopus and hummus appetizer was delicious, even if the tomato was a dried tomato and not confit as written on the menu. The first courses were very good, maybe in the pici with cuttlefish I would have preferred less onion, not that I don't like it, on the contrary, but it covered the taste of the fish too much. Excellent choice of wines and, even though there wasn't the dessert we wanted, the one we chose was also good. The only flaw was perhaps the service, polite and prepared waiters, but I would have preferred a smile more. For a starter, two first courses, three glasses of wine, two waters and a dessert we spent €84. I recommend this place in the summer to sit on the terrace, but the internal room was also very nice.

Very good food and beautiful views

The restaurant is a refined venue, with an excellent location and an elegant atmosphere. It has a beautiful terrace overlooking the side nave of the San Paolo basilica, certainly very suggestive in summer. We had dinner with a couple of friends, good dishes (many of them have a gluten-free option), perhaps prices a little above the norm but all very pleasant.

The location is both a blessing and a curse for this restaurant. Characteristically located on the remains of an ancient Roman burial ground, romantically overlooking the side nave of the Basilica of S. Paolo Fuori le Mura, yet if you find yourself dining on the terrace on a sunny day you will have to put up with the "greenhouse effect" caused by the plastic sheet (which is rather old, ruined and dirty...) which risks ruining your lunch. Furthermore, we were forced to place 3 people on a table that could accommodate at most 2; they informed us (kindly) that the table could not be changed. Overall, in terms of general comfort, the experience wasn't great. Good quality food: well-made tonnarelli cacio e pepe, pasta with bite, pappardelle wild boar ragout which is particularly original in flavour; The meat dishes are also good and cooked to perfection. Average desserts. Courteous service, but with a few too many distractions. Quality/price ratio: average.
