Located not far from the basilica, this is a very good restaurant. The cacio e pepee is superb! And the pizza is very good too!

Even though the restaurant was packed, I felt the service was excellent. The kitchen was constantly bringing out dishes, and the waiters were always attentive. The food was very good; we ordered a four-cheese pizza with mushrooms and truffle and a lasagna, both of which arrived in under 15 minutes. Keep it up! You've gained another customer from the Dominican Republic.

We had lunch on December 31st. The service was excellent, polite, and fast. The food was well-cooked and tasty. We'll definitely try it again. P.S.: The Brazilian waiter was a real treat.

Taste is So So. But they have good location near the Basilica. So if you want to try local foods while going to Vatican. Then you can go here.

Expected so much of Roman food and maybe that shaped our expectations.... but the lasagne was luke warm and flavourless whilst the spaghetti reminded me of the Heinz canned variety. Perhaps we just made bad choices

10/12/2025: A casual but pleasant place. The food is decent, but people come here primarily to choose an excellent bottle of wine from the extensive list. The spirits are also very interesting. A word of advice...remove any empty bottles from the list that can no longer be refilled.
24/09/2025: A magical atmosphere, music chosen by Massimo, and delicious, authentic dishes. An experience worth repeating every day.

31/12/2025: Healthy, fresh food, varied, plentiful, and affordable. All the waiters were attentive and friendly.
27/12/2025: A pleasant surprise at this little self-service restaurant: perfectly cooked vegetables, pasta, etc. You can create your own plate as you like for a very reasonable price. All this just a few steps from the Vatican.
