A unique and extraordinary place, worth it for that alone: ​​a very good set menu dinner, with discreet and unobtrusive staff. Beautiful and delicious.

We were a bit skeptical about trabocchi—we'd been told they were overrated—but we didn't want to miss out on such a unique experience, so we went to Sasso della Cajana, on the recommendation of fellow Romagna residents (so we're picky folks :-)). Top marks! The atmosphere is as authentic as possible, not too big (book ahead!), and the food is superb, cooked in the essential way you'd expect from such a place—simple yet meticulously prepared and plentiful: a cold appetizer with five different bites, a hot appetizer with mussels and clams, and the famous Abruzzo stuffed mussels; spaghetti alla chitarra with a white fish sauce, exceptional, among the best we've ever had; fried catch of the day (you could see and taste it); and the house wine, very decent and included in the price (honestly, from what we've read, it's the least expensive of the trabocchi), as are the homemade bitters and limoncello. The service is calm and appropriate for the friendly atmosphere. To top it all off, the owner, Marino, was attentive, thoughtful, and generous. We wanted to pay for the extra carafe of wine, but he wouldn't hear of it. I repeat: 10 out of 10!

The atmosphere was very charming, just as I expected. It was a unique and excellent experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the price/quality ratio was excellent for the menu. I highly recommend it.

A truly excellent (very fresh) fish dinner, served in large quantities. All in a very characteristic setting (a trabocco) and topped off by friendly staff, especially the owner, who managed to find me a table even though I hadn't booked. More than fair price.

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per 7 e come, consigliatoci dal proprietario, siamo arrivate per goderci lo splendido tramonto, fantastico! Il menù è fisso, antipasti vari, abbondanti ma soprattutto ottimi! Primo e secondo altrettanto... sinceramente pensavo al classico menù fisso turistico, invece ho trovato cibo di ottima qualità. La ciliegina sulla torta invece è stato un piccolo imprevisto, sì, proprio un imprevisto: una brocca di vino aveva un sapore che non piaceva, abbiamo avvisato il titolare che si è scusato subito in mille modi, ha portato 2 brocche di altro vino, cambiando anche l'altra di cui non ci eravamo lamentate oltre a tutti i nostri calici. Un'attenzione che fa di questo ristorante, oltre al cibo, un posto in cui ritornare quando sarà in zona!
