Sascianne In Galatone

We stopped by Sascianne for its reopening. We were welcomed by Giovanna and Claudio, two hosts worthy of the name. We ordered an appetizer and ravioli. We'd already won us over with the appetizer, but the lobster ravioli in shrimp ragù absolutely blew us away. Everything was exquisite and carefully prepared, but above all, light and flavorful. We finished with a Nutella panna cotta. In short, we'll definitely be returning to this little restaurant in a truly unique location.

The fish appetizer and pizza were top-notch. Oreste is a fantastic restaurateur. He has completely transformed Sascianne, bringing it to a whole new level. A highly recommended place.

I return to this restaurant for memories of my uncle's time there. The pizza is nothing to write home about, the service leaves much to be desired, and the orecchiette with turnip greens, which should be a great calling card, doesn't. I'm sorry that simplicity isn't captured as it should be. Can we talk about the bread? Truly disappointing.
