Excellent service here -- the staff are all very friendly and patient with our very limited Italian. Pizzas are great, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Love this place!

A truly welcoming pizzeria in the heart of Salerno. The staff is friendly and always available. The pizzas are excellent and made with quality ingredients. The drinks and desserts are also very good, perfect for ending the evening. A must-try place, I'll definitely be back!

The pizza is good, nothing to complain about, but the staff is the real asset to the place. A heartfelt thanks to Emiliano, Giuseppe, and the girls (unfortunately, I don't know their names). Let me just say we went one night, and then went back the next. We're from Modena, and we often visit Salerno because it's a city that's worth a visit, but I think Saporito is one of the best discoveries.

I visited this pizzeria on December 27th, which I discovered by chance. They greeted me with a smile and made us wait just a few minutes for a table (there were eight of us). Kindness reigns supreme here. Excellent service and extreme courtesy. We started with dreamy pasta frittatas, followed by a wonderful pizza. The bill was reasonable for what we ate. Special mention for Emiliano, friendly, professional, and super kind. Highly recommended.

During a trip to Salerno with my family to admire the Christmas lights, we stopped at Pizzeria Saporito and were truly thrilled. Excellent pizza, light dough, and quality ingredients. Fast and accurate service, despite the place being packed. The staff was friendly and always available, which is far from a given during busy times. The desserts offered by the owner also deserve special mention: truly excellent, the perfect end to an already excellent dinner. An absolutely positive experience. Definitely worth returning! 🍕

04/01/2026: The restaurant, housed in an old apartment, boasts a very distinctive interior, with period floors and doors paired well with more modern and colorful furnishings. The courtyard inside the building is also beautiful, while the exterior façade and entrance are unremarkable and poorly maintained. The dishes, while sophisticated and modern, have a traditional foundation. The wines, carefully selected by the sommelier, complemented the food very well, even though some of the pairings seemed a bit daring. The service was attentive, courteous, yet appropriately informal. As for dessert, you can sense the difference in thinking between the pastry chef and the chef; the desserts are more extravagant and detached from tradition. Excellent value for a one-Michelin-star restaurant. Highly recommended and a must-try!
