Our visit to Saporito in Salerno left an overall positive impression thanks to the quality of the food and the efficiency of the staff.
Pizza and Service 👍
Pizza: Although the dough deviates slightly from the strictest Neapolitan tradition, the pizza is definitely good and tasty.
Service: The staff was quick and very friendly.
Prices: Prices are average, offering a good balance between quality and price.
The Outside Experience ⚠️
The biggest criticism is the outdoor atmosphere. If you choose to eat outside, be prepared to be a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the table layout is haphazard, and we found ourselves constantly being bumped into by people passing by due to the limited space. This detracted from the overall comfort of the dinner.
In Summary
Saporito offers excellent pizza and efficient service. The only downside is the outside experience, which is uncomfortable and stressful due to the limited space.
Recommended, but perhaps a table inside is better if available.

A beautiful pizzeria with welcoming, super friendly, and helpful service that knows what they're doing. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is one of the best in Salerno's historic center. 10/10

Truly an excellent experience! The pizza was excellent: light dough and quality ingredients that you could taste in every bite.
The dessert was also a real surprise: delicate, balanced, and very tasty. Friendly, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch and absolutely delicious. We couldn't try all the desserts; we simply didn't have enough room! :) But we would definitely come back and eat here again.

Best pizza I had during my month of travelling in Italy! The Dough was perfectly soft and crispy and the ingredients in my “WaterColours” pizza were so fresh! The lemon dessert that was recommended for dessert was also amazing! Servers were friendly and attentive! Highly recommend this pizzeria.

That was the best pizza of my life — I’ve never eaten anything so good. If you’re in Salerno, you have to come here! The tiramisu completely blew me away — absolutely incredible! And the people who work here are wonderful — so kind and welcoming!

In vacanza a Salerno non deve mancare una pizza da saporito e noi ci siamo andati due volte perché veramente valeva la pena pizza napoletana con cornicione città bene e oltre alle tradizionali ci vengono proposte quelle che potremmo definire gourmet con ottimi ingredienti del sud e abbinamenti veramente azzeccati personale disponibile a concludere ottima cena
