Nice cheese selection, wine, cold cuts. We tried some delicious pecorino cheese and some cookies. Ideal to prepare delicious Italian picnic meal … enjoy.

Definitely worth a try! A good selection of sandwiches and focaccia, with excellent ingredients and at truly reasonable prices! The interior is small but truly rustic. Stop by.

Cured meats and cheeses pair well, but be careful with the schiacciata, which may be made the day before.

I'm still dreaming of the delicious Schiacciata, mortadella, straciatella and pistachio pesto (€8). A marvel! Warm welcome, freshly prepared meals with quality products and very generous in quantity!

One, no actually two of the best lunches I had in Volterra if not the month id spent already in Italy. The girst i had was A Foccacia with porchetta, peccorino cheese and caramelized onion. The combination was delicious do kuch do I csme bsck the next day for a panini with prosciutto, gorgonzola and onion jam and amazing mix. i then purchased takeaway Porcetta and some black peccorino. Highly recommend for a great quality, reasonably price but most importantly flavours that dance along your tastebuds.

Not just a shop.. In the back they have a little room with seats.. That's where the magic happens, sandwiches of unique goodness with high quality local products, friendly and fast staff! Recommended!!

Revisado en 2025: Esta vez vinimos a comprar un poco de Pecorino. Nos encanta Pecorino. Va bien con cualquier pasta o simplemente para disfrutar como está. Y de todo el queso Pecorino que conocemos, ¡este de aquí es el mejor! Gran selección con todo tipo de sabores. Compramos dos con vino tinto, dos con trufas y dos con pera. Algunos sabores pueden sonar improbables... pero son geniales. Especialmente el de pera nos ganó el corazón. Va sorprendentemente bien con un plato de pasta ligera - le da un toque agradable y fresco. Los precios son realmente justos - se obtiene un montón de queso por el dinero. Y es un lugar ocupado. Espera una línea que vaya hasta afuera. Pero se mueve rápido. Y vale la pena esperar. Productos fantásticos. También tienen una gran selección de todo tipo de salami y otros productos locales.

Revisited 2025: This time around we just came to shop some Pecorino. We love Pecorino. It goes well with any pasta or just to enjoy as it is. And from all the Pecorino cheese we know of, this one here is by far the best! Great selection with all kinds of flavour. We bought two with red wine, two with truffles and two with pear. Some flavours might sound unlikely...but they are great. Especially the pear flavoured one won our hearts. Goes suprisingly well with a light pasta dish - gives it a nice, fresh twist. Prices are really fair - you get a lot of cheese for the money. And it's a busy spot. Expect a line that goes until outside. But it's moving fast. And it's worth the wait. Fantastic products. They also have a big selection of all kinds of salami and other local products. Review 2019: This place is a shop and a restaurant. The tables are a bit hidden in the back, so don't give up when you walk by. The products being served are also for sale in their shop out front. A huge Salumi and Cheese selection (try the Pear or Truffle Pecorino). Besided huge Paninis for 5 Euros each they serve amazing cold plates here. Regular ones with Salumi and Cheese, then the same but with boar and truffle or an all truffle cheese and meat plate. We went for the All Truffle Plate. And what an explosion of flavour that was. Great cheeses topped with Truffle honey. Truffle Mortadella and Salami. Bread with funghi/truffle topping, Truffle Porchetta etc. All products and ingredients were fantastic and far away from mass production. Nicely presented and fair priced for what you get. Staff was friendly and helpful. We also had two glasses of White Wine with. Local wine. They got a good selection. Be sure to bring some of their products home. And our dog was very welcome here as well!
