Incredible experience. Never eaten such good meat. The environment is truly very suggestive, few tables and well looked after; Impeccable service, price truly in line for the context. Fixed stop every time I'm passing through Florence.

My reviews speak for themselves…. I visited a lot of places and restaurants…. But a restaurant like this enters my top 5 without a shadow of a doubt. The owner was incredibly educated and professional, very rare to find nowadays. But food also plays its part... without quality such a judgment cannot be reached. I recommend making a reservation and remember that they don't make pasta but only some appetizers and many types of grilled meat.

Ate a “moving” fillet.
Informal place, few frills and lots of substance. Simone is a professional of the highest level.
I often frequent - not by choice - famous/renowned restaurants but every time I return to Prato I will not fail to eat a steak at Simone's... if I find the place 😉

We are often in Tuscany for work and at least one evening every trip a dinner here is a must! Small place so it is preferable to book especially on weekends. Beastly appetizers with venison salami and truffled mortadella which I do not recommend if you want to focus on the meat which is the strong point of the house, a wide choice of Italian steaks (Marchigiana and Maremma above all) and international ones (rubia gallega, angus etc.) which Simone the owner will be able to advise you based on your tastes.
Prices appropriate for what you are eating!

Small but welcoming with amazing meat and a lot of choice of origin. If you love well-cooked steak like we Tuscans like it, you're in the right place. One star less for the slightly uncomfortable chairs

Locale piccolino con8 tavoli , abbiamo preso un tagliere con varietà di salumi e 2 tipi di formaggio tutto molto buono e di qualità
Poi su consiglio del proprietario abbiamo preso della carne chianina , ottimo sapore veramente buona. Un buon vino della casa. Per concludere tozzetti e grappa.
