14/10/2025: I spent some time in Japan and ever since I left I have a hole in my heart only an onigiri can fill. Years of searching Rome for the best sushi I have finally found the place I will become a regular at. The best sushi I’ve had in Europe BY FAR. The family that created Nomisan stick to tradition while maintaining a modern flair. Thank you so so much for creating food that sparks joy and comfort. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you again ありがとうございます
07/10/2025: I've been to this restaurant twice. The first experience was definitely better than the second. It's certainly not a cheap restaurant, but the food is really good, and the service was equally pleasant, so we really enjoyed it. The last time, however, we had a bad experience with the service. There was clearly a misunderstanding about the wine, which was opened without even giving us time to see the bottle and without letting us taste it. It was their mistake; since we had asked for a still wine, they brought us sparkling. No problem, carelessness can happen. We then asked for a change of wine, but we waited over half an hour before anyone responded. In the end, since we were halfway through dinner, we opted for two glasses. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the waiter insisted on a supposed error of judgment.
Another mistake regarding dessert: we ordered mochi, and they delivered frozen mochi. Of course, it's forgivable, but it's not what you'd expect from a traditional Japanese restaurant. We overlooked it, considering what happened before.
No adjustments were made to the bill, and it wasn't cheap at all, needless to say.
It's clear there's a lack of coordination among the staff. The only attentive and professional guy was the brown-haired guy with the beard, who had served us the previous time as well.
Too bad, we hope they improve the service.
