Si l'extérieur du restaurant Vitique ne paie guère de mine, tout change dès que l'on accède à la salle à manger contemporaine et épurée mais néanmoins très avenante. Nous avions opté pour le menu Mano Libera (menu surprise en 5 séquences) et ce fut un véritable régal du début à la fin, digne d'un restaurant étoilé. Cuisine raffinée, fine et inventive; belle vaisselle de table en harmonie avec la qualité des mets proposés; service à l'italienne (donc impeccable) assuré avec brio par un maître d'hôtel super sympa et un sommelier qui maîtrise à merveille son sujet et qui propose une carte des vins exemplaire. Bon rapport qualité/prix pour ce restaurant qui vaut indéniablement un détour.

Visit to the cellar with tasting. Niccolò welcomed us and pampered us for the entire journey. A place waiting to be discovered and cared for down to the smallest detail. Great choice of labels and excellent quality of both food and wine.

Just arriving at Vitique from Florence is a marvel. The road, among the Chianti hills, is the perfect entrée to an imaginative, colorful and exquisite dinner. Place with attention to every detail, fabulous tasting itinerary (an ode to spring onion crème brulée!!!!), wine pairing nothing short of perfect, impeccable service.
