what a hidden gem! we had an absolutely amazing time, the food was incredible and Andreas looked after us so much. He recommended my partner a local alternative amaro for after dinner which he absolutely loved. The food was incredible, skip the touristy restaurants near the harbour and try here 😍 thank you again

While strolling through the charming streets of Lecco in search of a light bite, we happened to stumble upon Santa Lucia — and what a lucky discovery it was. We weren’t looking for anything extravagant, just something simple to satisfy our hunger. Little did we know, we were about to have one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip. I had been craving risotto all day and decided to ask the owner, Andrea, if they served it. He kindly explained that it wasn’t on the menu — but with a warm smile, he told me not to worry, they’d be happy to make it for me anyway. What arrived at our table shortly after was nothing short of magic. It was, without exaggeration, the best risotto I’ve ever had in my entire life. You could genuinely taste the love and care that went into every single bite. The dish was perfectly balanced, creamy, and cooked to perfection. It wasn’t just a meal — it was a gesture of hospitality and heart. A special shoutout must go to Andrea’s father, the chef behind this unforgettable dish. You could tell this was a family-run place where food is more than sustenance — it’s a passion and a tradition. Andrea himself was incredibly gracious, answering all our questions about the town and offering thoughtful recommendations for other things to see and eat in the area. His warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. We left with full hearts and fuller bellies, wishing we had more time in Lecco just so we could return. If you’re anywhere near this town, do yourself a favor and stop by Santa Lucia. You never know when a random craving might lead you to a five-star experience crafted with love.

A restaurant that is a guarantee. I have been going to this place for years now, every time I come to Lecco it is a must to stop at Santa Lucia. The staff is super friendly, they make you feel at home and you can talk and joke freely. The dishes are simple and tasty as are the pizzas, which combine the same ingredients perfectly. Making a lunch or dinner an unforgettable moment.

Locale molto accogliente, il personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Menù pizza di tutto rispetto, noi abbiamo mangiato i pizzoccheri che erano molto buoni e sono risultati anche molto digeribili. Molto buono anche il Tiramisù. Per la sera è consigliata la prenotazione. Accettano i cani. Ci tornerò sicuramente
