It really is worth the hype. One of the more memorable focaccias of our entire trip. The man there was so patient and explained every ingredient to us which we really appreciated. My favorite was the pear and local salami sandwich!

Awesome sandwich spot! Lots of simple but great options. You can see them prepare all the ingredients right in front of you. Do keep in mind that it’s not the fastest place, this wasn’t a problem for me so didn’t impact my experience.

Great sandwiches. I prefer The truffle cheese ham. The owner suggest pecorino which i did not find it to be nice based on my asian palate

One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked bread, fresh and local ingredients, and an extensive menu. Don't be afraid to ask for suggestions. It gets busy during lunch and there is only a walk up window, but still a much better experience than some of the tourist traps around town with lines down the block.

It was OK at best. The sandwiches were fine but nothing special for the price — about €10 each, which felt a bit steep for a quick takeaway spot. It’s take-away only, so no place to sit and enjoy your food. Also a bit surprised that despite the name, it was not so chic. Overall, not bad, not great — just an average experience.

The best sandwich I’ve tasted. The man serving is lovely and very helpful. There was a wait but totally worth it. Would definitely recommend coming here when in Florence

Great service and delicious sandwhiches. We were recommended a spicy sandwich with roasted red pepper and it was divine–we inevitably ended up visiting a couple times.

20/10/2025: After visiting the beautiful village of Vinci, we stopped at this bistro for lunch. We ate outside. The food was excellent, made with quality ingredients. There are several wines to choose from. The Chianina beef tartare, roasted vegetables, and roast pork loin were excellent. The tiramisu with biscotti and vinsanto was unforgettable. The owner and waitress were extremely helpful and ready to offer suggestions and information. We had a wonderful time; it was a fantastic day!
13/10/2025: Super personalized service from the entire staff. They're very attentive to customers and cater to everyone's whims... ask what's on offer, and they'll always surprise you with dishes off the menu!
