Despite the sign, it's somewhat inconspicuous from the walking path to Tirol Castle, as the terrace with its magnificent view is located behind the building. Delicious food at reasonable prices.

Great ambience and delicious food

We enjoyed a truly outstanding meal at the Sandgruberhof! The dishes were not only lovingly prepared, but also tasted of the highest quality – fresh, regional, and perfectly balanced. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion. We would especially like to highlight the extremely friendly and attentive service, which made our visit even more enjoyable. From the very first moment, we felt welcome and well looked after – warm, attentive, and absolutely professional. The Sandgruberhof is a real insider tip for anyone who appreciates good food and warm hospitality. We will definitely be back – and can only warmly recommend a visit!

A quaint restaurant with a rustic ambiance and a great view over the valley. My smoked trout was excellent, as was the beef goulash. The pasta with Bolognese was too salty for my son (and me). But thankfully, we didn't have to pay for the dish. Conclusion: If you like rustic food and are a fan of intensely spiced cuisine, you'll be happy here.
