The food is delicious, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is very atmospheric. The only thing is that there is no access by car, take this into account.

We've been to the Sandgruberhof several times. The apricot dumplings here are sensationally good, second to none. But all the other dishes are also delicious, traditional, and homemade, whether from the daily specials or the "regular" menu. The whole experience is rounded out by the fantastic view and the location below Tirol Castle!

A great stop right on the hiking trail from Tirolo to Tirol Castle, just a few steps below. Typical, refined, and delicious food. 😋. Reasonably priced.

Delicious Tyrolean food with splendid views of the Tyrolean Castle. Impeccable service. Short but quality menu, we ordered a pasta dish with a "Pastoral" Bolognese and a very well-spiced pork rib.
