The location is nice, the hotel would be better if the cleaning was done a little more carefully, the reception service was good.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I booked a night at this hotel for the Venice Film Festival and had a great time. I had a very spacious, quiet room, and the style was reminiscent of the Renaissance.

Amazing location, literally 50 steps from St. Mark's Square. We stayed in renovated rooms, opened this spring, with an entrance just steps from the hotel's main entrance. All the amenities work, although the interior soundproofing is only fair, while the exterior is excellent. There's no minibar, no proper luggage storage, and the breakfast is barely adequate.

Good location, the beds are two singles pushed together, so if you're a couple, go elsewhere. The rooms are nice. The service is nonexistent, the breakfast is really bad, a frozen croissant / slice of industrial cheese and industrial cold cuts and a coffee if the staff is willing to take your order.

In line with a three-star hotel, just steps from St. Mark's Square. The building is older, of course, being in Venice, but it's fine for a few days.
