San Michele Fusion Food In Catania

Ristorantino piccolo, ricavato in un vecchio panificio totalmente ristrutturato. Noi abbiamo cenato con la porta del locale aperta da cui entrava il dolce rumore della fontana. Cucina ottima, porzioni abbondanti e saporite, si nota che lo fanno da tanti anni. Materie prime scelte con cura e si vede. Consigliatissimo!

We started and ended our adventure in Sicily in this wonderful restaurant. Homemade food, delicious. The lady who served us was very nice, although she spoke only Italian, but it only added to the atmosphere of the whole situation. Beautiful instrumental music was playing inside, and the walls were decorated with our favorite color, turquoise. 10/10!

Nice and not very touristy place, genuine and quality cuisine. The bruschetta with anchovies and butter was excellent, a pleasant surprise. Nice, respectful service aimed at putting the guest at ease, which exudes passion for this job. Thanks for the dinner, keep up the good work!

I have just had the single best meal of my 2 weeks in Catania . I had the fried anchovies and the zucchini spiral pasta ( home made pasta )- absolutely amazing ! The waitress was lovely and took time to chat with me ( as I was dining alone )and also the chef came for a quick chat . This place is a treasure and I’m still swooning …

The fish and pasta were particularly tasty here and the service was extremely courteous and nice. Go and let yourself be pampered!!!

A very cozy and welcoming place, delicious food and very fresh fish, always welcomed with great care and attention by the owner "Stefania", gratitude for everything and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Sicilian cuisine.

Beautiful experience that happened by chance, yesterday evening we returned destroyed from a tour of Taormina, the lady who welcomed us was uniquely kind and very professional, fresh fish, especially the delicious clams, excellent swordfish, we will definitely be back

"San Michele" is a true hidden jewel for those who want to savor authentic Sicilian cuisine in a welcoming and familiar environment. Food is authentic and delicious! I tasted the caponata, a typical Sicilian appetizer made with aubergines, tomatoes and olives, which was simply divine. The first course, a pasta alla norma, was perfectly al dente and full of flavour, while the second course of grilled prawns was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend! Mario from Poland.

Anyone who loves being Sicilian is in good hands. Here the boss takes care of the guest with great attention to detail. The food is very tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients. After the affectionate greeting from the kitchen, there is a portion that you just have to be full of. This taste experience combined with loving care until the end should not be missed by anyone. Even simple original dishes become an absolute delight for the palate

We stumbled upon this jewel as our last meal in Sicily. Our server, Stepahanie, took beautiful care of us, using Google Translate to deal with our language barrier. All our food and wine was wonderful and typical of the area, but I especially loved my Pasta Norma and Escallopine Limone. The red wine was one of the best we have had. The chef even came out to make sure we were happy. Splendid.
