An excellent experience at Ristorante San Michele! The food was absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with heart and soul. You can really feel the passion behind every dish. The two owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the evening even more special. We felt truly well taken care of and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

What makes this place special is the service. Stefania is a wonderful woman who truly cares about her guests. She made our honeymoon dinner unique and special. The food is truly excellent and local. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something local.

We had the best squid ink pasta ever! And then there were mussels with pepper and pasta with fennel... everything so fresh and mouth-wateringly good!!! Highly recommended!

Very friendly waitress welcomed us in. Had English menu. Had bruscceta and cuttlefish pasta. Portions were nice. Menu had mostly fish dishes

31/01/2026: Restaurant in the historic center of Caltagirone. The menu is seafood-focused, the service impeccable, and the ingredients are top-quality.
19/01/2026: I had dinner here for my partner's birthday, and she received a wonderful surprise at the end of the meal: a special dessert served with a candle and beautiful decorations! Beyond that, the food was excellently cooked! The presentation was perfect! Fabrizio is second to none; he controls the dining room, not a thing out of place; he's incredibly attentive to his customers and always available to answer any questions, not to mention his mastery in recommending and explaining the dishes! I highly recommend the "swordfish sausage"—it sounds strange, but it's something you can't understand until you've tried it at least once! Congratulations! PS: The prices are perfectly in line with the quality of the service and food.

11/10/2025: I've been coming to Catania for work for five years, and Taverna del Grande Albero is a regular stop. First of all, I find quality and courtesy here, but above all, I feel like I'm at home. The owners have become like family to me. I GO TO FILIPPO'S, I say every time!!!! Always friendly, always hospitable, they never fail to chat with the customers, and I highly recommend it!! I've attached photos so you can fully understand my satisfaction. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of the spectacular seafood appetizer!
