We were happy to find this restaurant open at 19:00. We were a group of 8 so we had to wait a while for the food to be prepared but it was worth the wait. The lady that worked as a waitress was very friendly. The chef was also friendly and came to check if we liked the food. The pasta and everything was perfect, full of flavour.

Great classic Sicilian food, flavorful and well-made. Can recommend ordering the seasonal dishes and following the staff's recommendations. Good price for quality and friendly hosts. Highly recommend the affogato!

We came to this place simply looking for a place with excellent reviews to have dinner, after the first day in Catania. The place is simple, but well kept, with the door overlooking a very quiet square in the evening. A relaxing atmosphere pervades the restaurant at sunset, with background music that helps to shake off the frenzy of the day spent in the crowded streets of the city. We decided to start with Sicilian appetizers, and then continue with a first course with pistachio pesto and a mixed roast of fish. The courses were the right size to ensure that you can get to the end of the menu appreciating each individual dish. Each course had local ingredients and the person who served the tables explained the preparation and the origin of the ingredients from time to time. Even the chef, after the first courses had been served and consumed, and again at the end of the dinner, personally came to ask us if everything had been to our liking or if there were any notes we would have liked to make. The overall experience was really great, the people in the place were really friendly and they also gladly advised us what to visit in the surrounding area. Recommended to all those who pass through Catania and are near the restaurant!

We were so impressed by the food on our 1st visit, we went back for another dinner. Food was impressively prepared. The lemon sorbet is a must try. Excellent service. Lovely music background. Their menu has a very useful coding according to diet requirements. One more thing, is probably one of the only restaurants that opened before 1900. Suitable for those who like to eat a bit earlier.

Locale situato in piazza Iolanda poco fuori dal centro di Catania, servizio Cortese, menù non molto ricco perché si basa sulla stagionalità con prodotti principalmente locali e sempre freschi quindi garanzia di qualità. Mi spiace solo di non aver potuto assaggiare la loro pasta con seppie locali e il loro nero che è uno dei miei piatti preferiti qui a Catania così ho optato per la pasta alla catanese veramente un ottimo piatto ben equilibrato, i prezzi sono concorrenziali quindi lo consiglio
