San Lorenzo Osteria Bistrot In Milano

Ci sono stato a pranzo con la mia fidanzata. Locale molto ampio e abbastanza carino. Bell'accoglienza e servizio cortese! Purtroppo un piatto del menu' non era disponibile. Ci siamo divisi un tagliere di salumi e formaggi poi tagliatelle al ragu' bolognese e spaghetti alla chitarra con mozzarella di bufala, piatti abbastanza abbondanti e buoni. Conto un tantino alto ma ammorbidito da the fork.

The starters are very small. The main courses are okay and taste good too. Unfortunately the drinks are mediocre.

Company dinner. A place that is practically attached to the columns of San Lorenzo. Modern, nice, well-kept interior. Courteous and attentive staff. Menu not chosen by me, an aspect that unfortunately weighs on the review I can give. No. will certainly have had an influence. of people (about thirty), not abundant appetizers (charcuterie platter, a couple of slices at most each) and perhaps, in my personal opinion, with the presence of too much bread (bruschetta with vegetables and immediately afterwards bruschetta with anchovies). Typical Milanese first course based on yellow risotto with ossobuco. It must be said that in this case the portion was absolutely adequate and cooked well. I can't comment on the price, for once it's not my wallet that's crying.

Touristy and overpriced restaurant. Food is below average and service is not the best. Portions are big, so do not overorder. To my taste this restaurant is below average in all categories.

The service can definitely improve... when we arrived they didn't bring us the menus for at least 10 minutes, we had to get up and go and ask for it. Ditto for cutlery, we had to get up to ask for it after they took it away after the first course. A positive note is certainly the attention to intolerances (especially gluten-free as far as I'm concerned). For the rest, octopus with hummus and tzstziki was very good, cutlet good but not exceptional, chocolate cake I would say was excellent, spaghetti with truffles... To improve, the truffle was barely noticeable. Be careful if you book with thefork at a discount

We stopped by due to positive recent reviews; we wanted the typical milanese specialties: osso buco with risotto alla milanese and the milanese style cotoletta. The portions were very generous and the food lived up to expectations. The cheese and meat board was also very pleasant. The service was lovely. Overall, a good experience.

Bevuto solo due calici di vino al tavolino esterno. Vini buoni. Servizio celere cortese ed educato. Ci tornerò per provarlo come ristorante.
