San Jacopino Trattoria Pizzeria In Firenze

Every time I'm in Florence for work it's now a fixed stop. Yes, he always eats well, excellent service, all for an excellent price compared to many other less honest ones. Highly recommended

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It has such an authentic Italian atmosphere, and the pizza and pasta are on another level. Before coming to Italy, I actually disliked pizza and pasta, but now I realize that what I had before wasn’t real Italian food. The pasta and pizza here are incredible, packed with flavor! We ordered the clams spaghetti, black truffle pasta, and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was so delicious! I take back what I said about not liking pasta and pizza. The flavors were so rich and satisfying. The service was excellent—professional and efficient without unnecessary small talk. We also ordered a 1/4 liter of house wine, and when there was a mix-up with the bottle, they quickly resolved it. When it came time to pay, the bill was just over €36. As I was looking for some coins, the staff simply told me, “Don’t worry about it.” Honestly, this level of hospitality is something I’ve never experienced in the Western world—it felt so down-to-earth and genuine. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I was alone for dinner in the evening, apart from the wait being a little longer than usual, also unfortunately the pasta dish I had ordered was very salty, strange because as usual, I ordered the cartere and it had never been like this

Let's just say I remember the place and came back on my second visit in Florence a year later, I think it explain how great it was. On the second time (January 2025) we had tricolore pizza and spinach-gorgonzola gnocchi. It was wonderful. The staff was very nice and friendly and the prices were good too. The atmosphere is very homie and cozy, which I liked a lot.

Small and busy place. Very popular with locals, which is always an indication of quality. Good pasta and great service.

Tijdens ons verblijf in Florence hier drie keer gegeten. Werkelijk fantastisch qua kwaliteit, porties en prijzen. Authentiek Italiaanse zaak waar we graag terug kwamen. De t bone steak die hier geserveerd werd was van een normale omvang en ook een normale prijs. Jeugd in de zaak spreekt redelijk tot goed Engels. Aanrader.

Sono sicuro che il menu offra tanti piatti gustosi ma ogni volta che mangio qui mi sento "obbligato" a prendere il Calzone San Jacopino: enorme, variegato ed economico. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Ovviamente lo consiglio anche a voi!
