This restaurant is a real gem. Like in a time machine we were transported to the 80s when the food was genuine and the prices were honest. Frankly we ate better than many other (more pretentious) places in Urbino. All homemade, all delicious. Ps: I don't understand the negative reviews about this place. It's a good thing I didn't read them before because otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience

Authentic, cheap and tasty. This is how restaurants used to be like in Italy in the 80s and 90s. Family run, everything is homemade (pasta desserts) a bit dated but honestly priced and no modern fusion food rubbish. Go.

Really nice restaurant It reminds me of old fashioned restaurants from the 80's and 90's Simple tasty cuisine made me feel like I was at home Simple tasty dishes, excellent and friendly service. I was there with my wife and my children and we had a great time Found by chance in the center And above all normal prices Excellent choice I will return

Abbiamo trovato questo piccolo ristorante in un vicoletto di Urbino , appena entrati ci siamo trovati in un ambiente che ci ha portati indietro nel tempo con ricordi famigliari di locali contadini. I piatti della cucina locale sono stati un’altra scoperta gustosa,semplici ma pieni di quei sapori dell’entroterra marchigiana. Da tornarci sicuramente,lo consigliamo vivamente se passate da Urbino.

Found by chance with family. Ate very well. Passatelli porcini mushrooms, delicious! Very courteous and helpful staff. If I return to Urbino I know where to go to eat

Restaurant with à la carte menu also on 31 December. Simple and familiar atmosphere, the attentive and kind host. Good quality and plentiful dishes! Excellent quality/price.

Ristorante San Giovanni is up a small street that leads to the oratorie di San Giovanni and San Giuseppe. It's downstairs at a small albergo of the same name. We had two plates of local pasta that were certainly adequate, although nothing especially noteworthy. Service was fine. Decent bottle of local red.

18/02/2025: Quiet place, located a few kilometers from Urbino (Palazzo Ducale), and San Marino. Used with Smartbox box, treated very well, delicious and plentiful food, absolutely recommended.
22/01/2025: Comfortable and spacious rooms. Friendly staff available for every need, we had a problem with the air conditioning (because we didn't know how to use it ourselves) and they were able to respond to our problem in a very short time. And the evening restaurant was really good and the staff were equally good. Quiet location, away from busy areas but about ten minutes from the center of Urbino. I highly recommend it

06/11/2024: 5 stars are not enough but 10 would be needed for this super wonderful wine shop!! not to mention the fantastic grottino, as well as the super qualified staff... I recommend it for those who want to have an excellent quality aperitif in a quiet and familiar environment, not to mention Silvia's cuisine who knows how to prepare very good and genuine dishes starting from the first seconds and finish with a good dessert...and finally with the very nice sommelier Zeno who can recommend excellent wines to pair with.
26/10/2024: Excellent delicious food.... Drinking..... What can I say, excellent quality.... Very nice and competent owner.
