We went to San Ginesio for a couple of relaxing days, and found this little place for dinner. They offer many Marche and local specialties. We ordered two first courses, shared a second course, and dessert. We did the same for lunch the next day, because where you've had a good time, you want to come back. The prices are fair, and the food is truly delicious. The owners are truly friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. We'll definitely be back.

We chose this small restaurant based on the reviews, which were all pretty much positive. I have to say we were right; the dishes were few but truly well-prepared. The family-run restaurant is friendly and courteous. The prices were average and the food was top-notch.

Piatti tradizionali, semplici e ben eseguiti, porzioni giuste-abbondanti. Non di tante parole il proprietario e un po’ nascosto il posto, in una bella cornice di colline marchigiane a pochi km dal paese di San Ginesio, un piccolo gioiello in ricostruzione.

Dit zijn de ontdekkingen waar ik van hou! Buiten de gebaande padden adem in het buitengebied aan het eind van een doodlopende weg kwamen we op een terrein waarvan het niet duidelijk was of er iemands woonde of überhaupt aanwezig was. Het enige teken van leven waren twee doodvermoeide katten die op het terras lagen te slapen. Toen ik op de deur wilde kloppen (zekerheid voor alles) opende een vriendelijke man de deur. Natuurlijk waren ze open. Kom binnen! We waren de enige. Omdat het lunchtijd was beperkten we ons gerecht tot een antipasta, een pasta en een toetje. De meloen met ham was voortreffelijk! Maar de pasta’s waren bijkans nog veel lekkerder! De ravioli kussentjes waren ruim gevuld. En dit keer niet met droge ricotta, maar met smeuïge en smaakvolle ricotta, begeleid met paddestoelen en spekjes. Zelfs de andere pasta met rode saus, paddestoelen en ik dacht ook spek was rijk van smaak. Zo wil je elke dag eten. De huiswijn smaakte opperbest en het toetje (pannacotta) kon alle waardering wegdragen! Kortom een geweldige ontdekking. Ik kan dit iedereen aanbevelen.
