Excellent place for brunch!!! A very kind couple. Even though they don’t speak English, the lady really made an effort for us. For 4 euros per sandwich, it’s worth every cent. I don’t know how we didn’t come here regularly in the previous days. Many restaurants in Bari could be ashamed compared to them!! I wish them all the best!

We went for the sandwiches. In surroundings where everything is 8€ and up, they have decent sandwiches with tasty and fresh meat and toppings that bring the local, Italian and traditional taste in a meal. Highly recommend for a quick bite if you are on stroll in the old town. Although the staff do not know english, they are nice and friendly.

Wonderful sandwiches made on the freshest bread while you watch. To be eaten sitting on the wall surrounding the Castello moat. Sweet couple doing it all. Do not miss the homemade taralli. More tender and flavorful compared to the factory version sold everywhere and a better value. Must line up with local tradesmen and suits for lunch👍🇮🇹.
