Salernitana In Bassano del grappa

A very charming and welcoming place. Extremely tasty pizza. We were interested in visiting a real Italian pizzeria, not a tourist attraction. I think we made the right choice. The evening was unforgettable. Thanks to the hosts.

The experience at Salernitana met my expectations. It's definitely better than the current average of 4.3 stars. In my opinion, it's the best pizza in the central Bassano area, although perhaps not the most convenient if you want to walk from the center. The pizza isn't the classic bell-shaped pizza with a thick crust, which isn't a criticism or a negative. The dough and ingredients are good quality, and the pizza chef is certainly experienced in the pizza business. I found the atmosphere to be rustic, in a bubble with an '80s vibe. The service is good and fast, although waiting times can be a bit longer at peak times. The only small complaint is the prices, which are slightly higher given the setting. I appreciated that they still have tablecloths; it's one of the few pizzerias in the Bassano area that still uses them. Overall, a great place to enjoy pizza in a relaxed atmosphere.

I give this pizzeria 5 stars for what it represents and conveys, because it exudes authenticity. The pizza is truly small and light, and the ingredients are good. The place is old-fashioned, a bit stuck in time, but in a good sense of the word. The staff is welcoming. Honest opinion: I find the €3 extra charge for adding mushrooms a bit excessive.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Pizzeria Salernitana! There was no wait to be seated and my server was the sweetest! She did not speak much English, however, she did such a wonderful job! The food was absolutely amazing as well! It was so delicious that I even forgot to take a picture! By the time I remembered that I wanted to take a picture of it! It was too late! The pizza was gone! 😂
