The place is small, the food is good, good quality, and the sandwiches are limited, unlike the more elaborate dishes. Service is friendly and fast. Just a small tip: check your receipt to make sure everything matches; it's Saturday and the crowds can make mistakes.

First time.
Quality food.
Both the starters (stuffed courgette flowers/300g meatball and the sublime eggplant parmigiana)
Attentive, courteous service
The only flaw was that we were seated in the first part of the room where the people who entered/exited you found them sitting with you.
Internally, however, the room is much better.
Definitely coming back to try the meat.

Un gioiello nel cuore del Vomero: Sale e Pepe è il classico locale napoletano che unisce tradizione, gusto e accoglienza. Il piatto forte? Senza dubbio la polpetta al ragù: morbida, saporita, un vero tuffo nei sapori della domenica in famiglia. Da provare anche la carne alla brace, cotta alla perfezione e dal sapore autentico. I dolci, poi, sono la ciliegina sulla torta: freschi, fatti in casa e irresistibili.
Il servizio è eccellente: personale gentile, attento e sempre sorridente. L’atmosfera è calda e familiare, perfetta per una cena tra amici o un pranzo in tranquillità.
Consigliatissimo a chi vuole vivere una vera esperienza gastronomica napoletana, con ingredienti genuini e tanta passione.

I think I have never eaten a better sandwich, all the ingredients were top quality, every bite was a poem. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, only the space left something to be desired, with a small and narrow space for my tastes. The quality of the product and the competence of those who manage it must be rewarded by an environment worthy of them.
