Excellent food and dining experience. Definitely worth returning.

We come to this Ethiopian restaurant in Piazza Bologna very often and we love it! The atmosphere is truly authentic, with attention to detail, and it immediately immerses you in the African atmosphere. The waitresses are also Ethiopian and very friendly, making everything even more authentic. The dishes are flavorful and unique, especially the meat and vegetable dish, truly delicious, served on injera bread. But a thousand points go to their chickpea cream, shirò, and their tuntumu (lentils). The fried appetizers filled with meat and lentils are also a discovery: crispy, tasty, and perfect for starting dinner. There's a wide selection of wines, too. A place I absolutely recommend if you want to try something different and authentic!

Limited vegan options. Limited to a mixed platter and just one appetizer and dessert. The staff is friendly but doesn't clearly explain the ingredients.

Impeccable. I don't write many reviews, but I had to. The food was irrationally unique and high-quality. Excellent meat, "and I'm a butcher." Stellar service. The welcome and attention to detail were top-notch. I had the mixed appetizers and main courses, and from the first bite I was amazed, intrigued, and satisfied. The wine and beer were fantastic. The portions were reasonable, and I eat quite a lot. They were extremely helpful with questions and anything else. Impeccable hosts and exemplary restaurateurs. The wine, beer, dishes, and settings were typical of Africa, including the tables, chairs, and furnishings. It will be my new habit! Thank you for this priceless experience.

Sahara is always a guarantee! We took the mixed Eritrean menu and the food was absolutely delicious, also according to my friend, of Eritrean origin. The atmosphere was very nice, also for the traditional table that makes the experience more immersive. Very kind staff. We will be back soon

I went to dinner with colleagues in this wonderful restaurant. The quality of the dishes was excellent, the very friendly waitress gave us excellent advice since it was the first time I tried this type of cuisine and gave us the possibility to change the level of spiciness of each course. Leaving aside the fact that I have rarely eaten and had such a good time, I would give more stars if it were possible to the beauty and attention to the smallest detail of the place. We had the opportunity to meet the very kind owner who explained and illustrated all the details of the place, which can be defined as touchingly beautiful. Well-kept, clean, where you can breathe the air of passion and love for the place. One of the few restaurants managed by those who care for it and love it as if it were their own creation, a dream come true. Working for passion and not for profit is the key that makes this place wonderful.

We had the sambussa, the classic zighini and the mixed vegetarian which we liked, the desserts are many and varied, but not all have the same level of originality. The pistachio one was very similar to (or was) a halva. We did not know the South African wine Savanha which we liked a lot and which has unique and spicy tones. The internal environment is interesting and well-kept and the people who work here are courteous and friendly. We did not have to wait long for food. I return to this restaurant with pleasure every time I come to Rome and for years they have been a guarantee, I will definitely continue to return. The only downside is that we had to ask for the receipt.
