My sister told me about this restaurant when she sent guests from Forte Village there about 40 years ago as a place where you could eat divinely... I went with my partner and his family... I was a little afraid... for me it was a legend, a long desired place... but after all these years would it still be the place of my dreams? And then the responsibility of bringing people who didn't know him... What can I say...from dream to reality...indeed Better! Sublime dishes... classy service without being too formal... in short... we are thinking of visiting Cagliari just to try other dishes!😜 And starting from northern Italy it's not just around the corner...

Everything was excellent, the only flaw was the waiting time between the first and second courses.

This restaurant manages to offer surprising, excellent and well-prepared dishes, fabulous service and privacy at the tables despite being very large and having many seats. Excellent management and beautiful internal room... a virtuous example of catering managed with passion. Well done, well done, well done!

Durante la mia recente visita al ristorante "Sa Cardiga e Su Schironi" che dista in auto mezz'ora da Cagliari. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalle opzioni vegetariane. Nonostante il locale sia rinomato per le sue specialità di pesce, il personale è stato molto attento nel proporre piatti adatti a chi, come me, segue una dieta vegetariana. Ho iniziato con un risotto ai piselli, che si è rivelato delizioso e saporito. Come secondo, ho optato per una selezione di formaggi locali accompagnati da confetture fatte in casa, un abbinamento perfetto che ha esaltato i sapori autentici della Sardegna. Funghi arrosto veramente deliziosi. L'atmosfera accogliente del ristorante, unita alla disponibilità del personale nel soddisfare le esigenze alimentari dei clienti, rende "Sa Cardiga e Su Schironi" una scelta eccellente anche per i vegetariani. Consiglio vivamente questo locale a chi desidera gustare la cucina sarda in tutte le sue sfaccettature, inclusa quella vegetariana.

Fixed menu on Sunday: 55 euros for 3 starters + cutter, a first course (fregola) and a second course (grilled), including a bottle of wine (5 people), dessert coffee and mirto. So the courses are numerous but the quality is poor: the cuisine does not reflect the name of the restaurant. Overcooked mussels in stew as well as the fregola seafood, which had broken shells. The grill is average. Particularly acidic octopus and mushrooms. But above all, the otherwise friendly waiter, passing between the tables, offered us some eels with an accompanying glass of wine during the meal, before the barbecue arrived which also included eel. Some members accept and we later discover that everything had been charged to the account. Beyond this questionable scene, I would have preferred one less dish and more attention and quality of the dishes. Sin.

Erano diversi mesi che non mi recavo presso questo ristorante e sulla scia dei bei ricordi oggi abbiamo deciso di tornarci per pranzo. Voglio focalizzare questa recensione solo sul menù e non sul servizio perché la domenica mi era già chiaro che il servizio non sarebbe stato all'altezza e per non levare un altra stella dal giudizio preferisco parlare solo delle pietanze. Sul tavolo troviamo un menù degustazione dove all'interno abbiamo fatto fatica a trovare un motivo per apprezzarlo e decidere di prenderlo. Alché andiamo alla carta e ordiniamo 2 antipasti e due secondi. Prima di ordinare ci portano il piatto di benvenuto con 6 fettine di salsiccia e due ciotole, una con le olive l'altra con la crema di pecorino. Quest'ultima da noi non gradita ci viene portata via avrei auspicato che venisse integrato con qualcos'altro e invece niente. Dopo quasi 50 minuti ci arriva il mio antipasto che essendo freddo non è stato necessario cucinarlo pertanto già on linea, dopo una ventina di minuti l'antipasto della mia compagna; é chiaro ed evidente che abbiamo mangiato alternandoci. Arrivano anche i Secondi un sarago alla vernaccia con i carciofi e gamberi alla griglia. Il sarago buono e saporito, ben cotto e appetitoso, i gamberi buoni, freschi ben cotti ma aimè non privati dell'intestino quindi è con pazienza e buona volontà che la mia compagna si è ad operata per cercare di non mangiarsi il contenuto dell'intestino facendo il massimo per eliminarlo. (operazione che da crudo viene abbastanza facile ma che da cotto non è altrettanto facile, anzi qualche residuo rimane sempre.) Comunque concludiamo il pasto accompagnando lo con 2 calici di bollicine e un caffè e un giudizio generale che riassumo in "senza lode e senza infamia" ecco perché per un ristorante di questo genere le aspettative erano e devono essere più alte in funzione anche di quanto si è disposti e si sa di dover spendere. Insieme alla. Location che dovrebbe essere rivista credo che anche alcuni dettagli possano farmi decidere di ritornare a pranzare qui.

Servizio eccellente impeccabile e molto professionale. Piatti di pesce freschissimi. Pietanze servite in modo originale e gustoso.

I was here for a company lunch, and it was the first time I had been to this place. Expectations were high, and the menu lived up to it: I really ate very well, from the starters to the first courses, from the second courses to the dessert, everything they brought was nothing short of exceptional. The waiter was super efficient. The only flaw, and I'm sorry to say it, was that we were placed in an area that was cold, probably a former veranda that was closed, and despite having two splits on (perhaps one wasn't working?) it didn't heat up, because there were fixtures that they let air pass. I in particular was in a place where it was freezing and where cold air reached my legs. 5 stars deserved for food and service, but on a cold day like Friday, it would have been more pleasant to eat in the heat.

We were invited by two dear friends for dinner, to celebrate a birthday, we were about twenty people. Excellent service, quality of food and general ambience.
