Running Sushi Kasai In Milano

I've been going there for 8 years and I'm very happy with it, the staff is top, the food is delicious, I recommend it

A small place but with a really nice style, it does an all you can eat formula but it's not just sushi, I also tried the cooked dishes and they were really excellent. You immediately notice the excellent service, the waiters are quick and helpful, recommended.

Sushi Kasai is a restaurant on Viale Tibaldi, which we hadn't heard much about, but which intrigued us. So one evening we decided to try it. The location has recently been renovated, it is quite colorful and cheerful. However, there are not many seats and the tables are small. The service was very quick and courteous. The waitresses pointed out each dish that was served to us: this is something that should be taken for granted, but which happens less and less often in restaurants with many seats. One of the (few) sore points of this AYCE is the menu, which at dinner has fewer dishes than we are used to. However, we must take into account the below-average price at dinner. A real shame because the quality of the fish was above average, the flavor of the salmon and tuna, both in the tartare and in the sashimi, pleasantly surprised us. We also really enjoyed the uramaki. The experience at Kasai has, in some ways, pleasantly surprised us and, in some others, left us with a bitter taste in our mouths. The quality of the fish seemed high to us, as well as their potential, for this reason we decided to rate them with 4 stars out of 5, in the hope that reading our review they will expand their menu and remove some limitations.

The restaurant has a very stylish and modern interior, and when you are inside, you really enjoy being there. The staff is friendly. The food is good, but not exciting. I love gnocchi, but they turned out to be dry. The tartare was tasty but very small in portion size. However, we really enjoyed the meat gyoza – they had a delicious crispy crust. The bao and chicken in souse was also tasty. Overall, we had a nice experience, but food could have been more flavorful.

Fast and efficient service, great food, nice atmosphere

We went for the first time after the renovation, and found it much larger and more welcoming. Good food as usual and efficient staff! Excellent judgement
