My partner and I happened upon this place by chance one evening, and despite the rustic atmosphere, we had a wonderful meal, exceeding our expectations. The lentil and potato soup was excellent, and my partner had the scamorza with speck, which was also excellent. The staff were all extremely courteous and friendly. We returned the next day for lunch for a quick meal: we ordered dishes from the rotisserie counter, confirming our previous plans. They were excellent, not to mention the desserts, homemade according to traditional recipes. The bill was a pleasant surprise, and another plus is that they welcome dogs without a problem. Overall: a pleasant surprise, we'll definitely be back.

We're from Sicily, and this is our third year visiting Pescasseroli. We hit up Saltarelli Pizzeria right on time, enjoying excellent dishes, from pizza to polenta to biscotti. The hospitality was top-notch, and the prices were reasonable. Even my furry friend was welcomed with love. Highly recommended.

We had dinner here after returning from a hike. It's not a restaurant, but a cafeteria/pizzeria with lots of interesting options for both meat lovers and vegetarians like me. The soup was very good, as were the potatoes and arrosticini (you'll have to trust my wife on that).

We had a great meal, the staff was very friendly. The pizzas were delicious. You can't reserve tables, but they always find a spot for you. They quickly rearrange the tables to accommodate everyone.
