A legend among Bari's rotisserie restaurants. Consistently excellent quality for decades. Words can't describe Oriente; it's an experience you absolutely must try. Truly top-notch.

The rotisserie is amazing, perfect for a takeout dinner, but not so much if you're staying in. I enjoyed several delicious dishes, prepared with care and passion. The bill, less than twenty euros, was extremely affordable for two people. I highly recommend this rotisserie for a quick, tasty, and reasonably priced meal.

I've known the Oriente rotisserie for many years; it's truly an icon for me and my family! So many delicacies, spoilt for choice! The staff is friendly, professional, and courteous. The best rotisserie in Bari, for sure!

It's no longer the Orient of the 90s/2000s, even the food personally I find a little less good, then since Glovo and similar have been used, the wait times have lengthened, honestly it's more convenient to order from home than to go there in person. What can I say, I prefer the old Orient. Ideal for young people who have to go dancing and go there to nibble on something.

The fried food is superb, incredibly crispy, yet not too heavy for my taste. The service is extremely friendly and well-organized: you take a ticket, thus avoiding any hassle with any cheaters who want to skip the line; I really appreciate this system. You can sit inside or outside, where there's plenty of room. The prices are average but still reasonable considering this deli's reputation. I recommend it without a doubt :)

10/10/2025: Tucked away in a small alley is this delightful restaurant with a friendly staff and excellent food. Our group of 10 tried both starters and mains, and everyone raved about the flavors and freshness. Add in some wonderful Puglian wine, and this restaurant was a real winner for our group. The staff spoke just enough English to help us navigate the menu, but everyone else there as Italian which to us was a good sign. If we go back to Locorotondo, this place will be at the top of our list.
08/10/2025: A delicious meal of lamb chops, very tender and cooked to perfection, ravioli with eggplant and fresh tomatoes, and excellent glasses of white and red wine... Quality service, a subdued atmosphere, and moderate background music: everything we're looking for!!! We're waiting for dessert to conclude... a flawless course: the pistachio and mandarin dessert was sublime, the Buffalo dessert too... we really enjoyed ourselves... thank you very much. We highly recommend it. 🫶🫶

08/12/2025: This restaurant was a wonderful discovery. We were strolling through the historic center and called to check if they had availability. They were really kind and welcomed us at 1 pm. The restaurant is bright, clean, and well-kept, combining modernity and tradition. The service is delightful, friendly but not pretentious, and the food is excellent. We had two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, house wine, water, and two coffees. Vegetarians have plenty of options here: our delicious appetizers were based on vegetables and delicious dairy products. My first course was delicious (orecchiette with cauliflower, anchovies, and crusco peppers), while my husband's was very local (mezze maniche with broad beans, cardoncelli mushrooms, and caciocavallo cheese). The desserts were a real treat. Try them and believe them. The prices are fair. I'll definitely be back!
