Excellent experience, both for celiacs and non-celiacs! The entire rotisserie counter is gluten-free, plus you can choose first courses from the kitchen (with or without gluten) and desserts (all gluten-free). Lots of attention to contamination (so much so that the products with gluten come from an external location): a guarantee for celiacs. The venue is also part of the AIC circuit. We ate two gluten-free first courses: tortellini in broth and gramigna with sausage, both good. From the counter we tasted potato rosti and fried polenta, but also delicious, soft fresh bread. The dessert we chose, tiramisu, was homemade and we liked it. Everything was good, but the gramigna with sausage struck us, together with the attention and hospitality of the staff. We will happily return!

Genuine rotisserie where you can have an excellent lunch break. The window with the available dishes offers an almost embarrassing choice 🙂. Prices ok. Dear gentlemen. I'll be back.

Amazing selection of gluten free (senza glutine) Italian food, friendly staff, lovely lady who served us made excellent recommendations, welcoming atmosphere, even gluten free beer which is hard to come by, lasagne was perfect comfort food in this cold weather, would recommend for tourists like myself visiting bologna and want an authentic experience.

Very nice place, very kind and enthusiastic managers, the wait was a little long for the first courses (forgivable because it was rush hour)..excellent desserts

Small but nice environment, friendly and courteous staff but above all excellent gluten-free food. We ate tortellini, lasagna and cabbage rolls, all excellent. Prices between 12 and 16 and per dish based on the type

Un luogo magico direi unico tutto gluten free ma come cucina casalinga tutto preparato con cura con gusto pasta fresca di varia tipologia una varietà di dolci buonissimì un clima familiare come mangiare dalla mamma . Fantastico ottimo anche per chi non mangia senza glutine perché non noti alcuna differenza. I proprietari super veloci efficienti simpatici . Sono andata tutti i giorni per provare di tutto

Vicino a porta Saragozza. Bancone prodotti super variegato ed integralmente gluten free, sl pari della pasta fresca. Tutto di ottima qualità, sl pari del servizio e conto.

03/01/2025: A truly beautiful place, on the first hills of Bologna. Excellent dishes prepared with care and excellent and courteous service.
30/12/2024: Osteria da Cesare is a magnificent place. I highly recommend going there especially in the summer as they make you eat outside and see the hills it's a unique emotion. Inside the restaurant you feel at home, it's a warm place in the sense that it makes you feel at home comfortable as soon as you enter, it is a place with attention to the smallest details. The food is of a VERY high quality, the first courses are fabulous, the appetizer that is the platter with the cold cuts also, there is a really high quality raw ham and bacon, the only thing that unfortunately I didn't particularly like is that the mixed meat grill that I had a few days ago at the end of December 2024 is small despite the fact that the quality of the meat was TOP in the sense that you can taste all the flavors on the palate I highly recommend this place.
