Having dined at Mimmo's on many occasions, I can say that he knows his stuff when it comes to pizza, and he obviously follows the Neapolitan style, but even with the tongs, he was up to par! The atmosphere is modest and the service is good.

We stopped at this place on our way from Rome, because it's close to the hotel in Arezzo where we were staying. The quality of the pizzas we ordered amazed us, as did their digestibility. And I believe it. Pizza chef Domenico uses dough that's left to rise for a full 72 hours and a blend of three strong flours from a professional brand. The service was attentive and fast. The pizzas have a crust that most Romans don't like, but that didn't stick around on our plates! The pizzas weren't burned at all, a sign of expert management of the wood-fired oven. Not satisfied, we returned before leaving for the capital, and our excellent rating remained unchanged. Highly recommended.

A very welcome discovery in Arezzo, tasting the first slice of this margherita I felt for a moment like I was in the alleys of a Neapolitan neighborhood. The dough, tomato and mozzarella are stratospheric, this is really how pizza should be.
I am convinced that if the restaurant opened in a less industrial area, perhaps with a view of some Casentino countryside, this restaurant would really make the leap.
